Winter NAMM 2012 News
I don't really have much to say other than this is a pretty cool device. I'd say that overall, this is worth it for whoever would benefit from having a quiet amplifier that's easy to carry around. The sound is better than anything you'll find in amps this size, and even a few sizes bigger to be honest. Highly recommended.
I've been using it for two years. I didn't have much use for it after I moved out of my freshman dorm, once I had more room to practice and was able to use a bigger, better amp. I don't like the effects, as they tend to sound pretty terrible most of the time and are somewhat hard to use. I tried some other models, some by Marshall and Fender (th...
All in all I think there are better choices out there than this amp. It doesn't offer much in the features department and the tones are pretty mediocre at best. Peavey later released the Rage 158 which is far superior to this amp and can be had for probably close to the same price. I would stay away from this amp... there are better options out ...
This little amp has lasted longer than the Marshall micro amp that I had for a short time before it stopped functioning. Who knew that Danelectro quality would outlast Marshall? If this thing croaked, I'd replace it only if I thought I needed another portable practice amp. It's cheap and has been reliable so far. The only feature I wish it h...
All in all I think the Fender Amp Can is a cool and certainly eye catching portable amp for travel and small gigs. They sound decent and are fairly light too. They sold new for about $200 which is a decent deal considering the features. Definitely worth a look if you need a cool little portable amp.
All in all I think the Fender Mini Twin '57 is a great little amp for anyone seeking a practice tool, something to travel with, or just a cool sounding novelty amp. At about $50 new you simply can't go wrong if you need a great and naturally cool tone tool. Plus this one's tweed... that's just cool.
The reverb has also been redone, and sounds fantastic. Tremelo is a nice feature for sure! Love the size, power, and tone of this amp. Vox has hit a home run with this one. My ONE gripe about it is the fact that it does not come with a footswitch, you have to purchase one...but that's it. Amazing amp, great price, try one, you will not be sorry....
I bought this to play some light blues for an outdoor wedding, where A/C was not available. Jack in an MP3 and you're good to play along with tracks. Truly the most fun piece of gear I've gotten in a long time. I don't expect to get rid of it, and with Roland quality, that means it'll be with my gear for a long time. Street Musician? - Don't bot...
You can pick these little combo practice amps up fro right at around $139. That i a great deal for this little combo. With the range of tonal possibilities the amp can see just about any style of guitar tones that you want.
This might be the best amp in this price range. At new these amps come in at around $130, which isn't a bad price for something this resourceful. I like the price on it and the fact that you can run direct into a PA system. My only beef with this unit is that it has this thing called the tuning fork which is basically what it says...
