I use it for a week.
Very light, this drive Hi-MD recorder is compatible with MP3, WMA, WAV, ATRAC3plus (!)
in short almost all types of sound files exist today.
it contains several entries: analog, optical numrique, micro USB port and
I like the ide be able to put up 45 on a cd Hi MD (1 GB = 6 euros). I like the fact that it has a microphone jack to record repeats' (the important criterion for my choice).
I cons by a little afraid for his resistance to falls (it happens unfortunately). I find it more plastic than my old MD who just silent metal (MZ R55).
I recorded a repeated HI SP mode and the sound is really nickel despite the compression. 3 hours recording without worrying about the time the MD is a real comfort
We can transfer what is recorded on pc via Sonic Stage (version 2.0 on CD supplied), USB 1, but I'm on mac, and it is not currently compatible. They work there seems ilpatience.
The battery is a bit light I think I'll see if I can find a more resistant. But mostly I use it on AC power, recording, transfer to my mac via the headphone jack (since no USB compatible).
Navigation is fairly intuitive, even if you still have to read the manual at least once so we can do something with. The funny thing is that there are two modes of operation. NORMAL mode that allows some adjustments (style recording mode) and mode that allows ADVANCE going into more details in the settings (eg, adjustable recording level, sensitivity of the microphone jack, etc.).
Finally with the manual in front departing ca is very very accessible. after it is about memory.
The intuitive remote control is used very simply.
Priced at 190 euros, in http://www.concurrence.fr (it costs on average 250), I find it very competitive. His report quality price is excellent.
With the experience I was looking for an MD can do all that was the old (save - adjustable recording level, read MD) but now he does it really any longer thanks to the HI-MDDonc y ' no quibble I would take the same again.
I would therefore put the score of 8, because it really is top in all its functions, but its plastic cot makes me a little scared, (wrong?). But do not hesitate is to the ball!
