Winter NAMM 2012 News
Overall, Good sampling machine, but you love the MPC’s then stick with them. This will allow you to do more, but it does not have the feel of the MPC that we all love. There are a lot of menus and sub menus that will confuse you. If you haven't used the MPC at all then go with this sample because its an all in one machine.
Overall this is a solid machine for a reasonable price, this is the only machine that can compare to the MPC. I love the grid editing fruity loops style editor. Makes me feel like im on the computer. Which you can actually hook up an external monitor so you don’t have to use the on board monitor. This is something that MPC hasn’t done yet! This...
I've been using it for six months (about 2-3 hours a day). Great product if you take the time to understand it, but it will still remain complex if you don't know music theory because it's a music instrument! I don't know much about music theory so I had to work really hard to learn how to use all functions. <br /...
Do I love it? Hell yeah! If you're on a limited budget such as I, it offers great value for money. Don't view it as a standalone groovebox, view it as a synth, a sampler and an fx-processor in 1 box. Despite it's obvious limitations, it's a very, very versatile box. You can spend hours exploring it's possibilities. I've had tons of fun with it, ...

- I've "used" it only a few months because the manual is so awful that I've had to really work in fits and starts but I do have fun sometimes. I love its looks and sturdiness. The sound is very good and its a very a comprehensive piece of gear. I hate its complexity, it's irritating, and it is also very, very slow!<br ...
I love this machine what i lack in insturments i make up for with another machine or a downloaded patch but this is the center piece for all of my production. Originally posted on FutureProducers.com Posted by: sasson ( 8-, 2005)
The luv factor is high, for 1 I was looking to change my setup anyway. I don't like the idea of useing a certain piece cuz this or that guy does.and I still like hardware over soft samplers. the mv filled the void nicely by haveing software features. Before I bought this, I would spend hours in [music store] just on this one piece of gear. I'm telling you...I've never found it so easy to be unique. And when I want, I just sit it in my lap, turn off the lights and just play thru my headphones. It's the one piece of gear I never want to get lost or stolen because I feel like I know it. <...
