This is a great saxophone, by a great company. I looked up Selmer not too long ago, and was amazed at how many players have used their horns. This model in particular is used by many people, from John Coltrane, Sonny Rollins, Paul Desmond, Bob Mintzer, Wayne Shorter, and later players like Leroi Moore, Michael Brecker, and others. The tone is in...
I bought it in 1991 in Selmer and I've never played with a beak regretté.Je dukkof d6 and recently on a Beechler Belite 7 and the soft reeds rico voz ..... a real treat .... .
I use it for 22 years and I have not had any major problems just above the left hand to change tampons and pads at some other revisions. I tried before a Buffet-Crampon, a Selmer Mark VI, a Mark VII and Dolnet. In the long run, the choice seemed obvious, it is a very fine sax with a very warm sound that the responde...
I have unfortunately stopped using it because my quintet is discocié. I acquired a real thunderbolt. I particularly like his tone and volume. The value was so great that I would add value.
I use this saxophone since 2008, and I think he will stay by my side all the way! Besides being beautiful, it is also "unique", "S" in red attracts the eye of fans. It meets sax! And in all registers with a sound rather muffled. I played with a V16 ebonite mouthpiece. Recommended!
First, it is the price of the bass saxophone, not alto. How long you use it? Over 10 years. Did you tried many other models before buying it? Yes, I used a Selmer Mark VII 4000F bought used in 1979 or 1980. Violas rental not terrible. A Yanagisawa A901 which I really helped out. ...
I've had it 6 months, I do not get bored, right, hot always controllable. The pallets are all in the right place, as if the sax was created for my length of hand / finger! A jewel
I use this for almost 3 years sax. I had tried any other sax, yeah saw it on this model I learn to play. The instrument is easy to play, just, and what I like is that there are no surprises: if the sound is bad, it's not the fault of the instrument. The problem will most probably what is placed before the beak :-) I bought this s...
I use it for 3 years. No problem, great sound, cls enjoyable, no signal, a REFERENCE of Selmer. Suitable for beginners but also confirmed!
Hello, Mark VII alto saxophone is a very good choice. I also have a Yanagisawa 992 Bronze is great but the Mark VII remained very interesting for the price.
