Dean Markley DMC80 Stereo/Chorus 2x10. The amp is 100% Solid State, 50watt X 2..100 watt output.
It has a Tank Spring Reverb, and Chorus. Very Loud for a Combo amp.
The review by Moosehermans information was Wrong..this amp do not have any other effects than the
Reverb and Chorus(He must of been thinking about a different amp when he wrote his review)
I rate the characteristics of the Dean Markley DMC80 Guitar Amp at a Strong 8.

UTILIZATION

Even though the amp is a Solid State rig,it has a really good clean channel,smooth and creamy. Add
some Reverb and it Shines! The Drive(Boost) Channel is strong,but I bought the amp for its cleans!
Ease of use rates a 9.

SOUNDS

The K Series DMC80 has a Drive Voicing Module switch located in the rear panel of the amp. This can
change the voicing of this amp to suit the player,so..options are up to you!
I rate the sound at 8.

OVERALL OPINION

The Dean Markley guitar amps have been discontinued for some time,but..they still make a Acoustic
line of amps. In my opinion,the DMC80 is very close to a Tube Amp without the large cost. This amp
is Not a bedroom amp,its very Loud,it needs to be played to show what it can do! I have owned many
different amps over the years,both SS and Tube. This is One Of The Better SS amps that I've Owned!

The Dean Markley DMC 80 is a transistor amp. Dlivre power indicated by the manufacturer is 80 watts Stros.
The rear output is conection with 2 Stereo jack 6.35 mono. It is the same for the inputs. It also has an RCA output base.
Faade entries are two in number. A normal and a attnue. In faade, we also find a headphone jack, line in, line out and a decision to enable or disable the reverb with a foot switch. T it would make more sense to switch to a prvoir distortion.
The rglages Submitted are conventional. Are the three colors: treble, middle and serious, clear sound volume, the reverb and a chorus that is activated by a push button. It also has an overdrive that is not bad, but a distortion pedals to make when even much better. At the rear, it also has 8 dip switches to operate in the overdrive sounds.

UTILIZATION

The configuration of this amp is really simple. Sounds good trs are obtained, especially in reverb and chorus with clear sound. Only the distortion is a bit Legré, and as I said above, it is better to add an external pedals or even a rack effect.
The chorus is suffering a bit of a breath you hear when you do not play. This breath rsiduel and trs well covered in.

SOUNDS

This amp rpond my expectations perfectly. I play a lot of metal, a lot of distortion and serious. The perfect amp rpond demand.
I toured with this amp now for a good fifteen years. I really jou Stanbury and with a DOD overdrive pedals for distortion. I wait soon a BC Rich warlock platinum with RP150 rack. I think that will change a lot of things.
My sounds are prfres clear sound with the reverb and especially a touch of chorus on top. I do not like the distortion, it is too basic and lacking in spades. on the other hand, to play a good rock, it will rev well. It is just hard for lgre and metal.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for fifteen years. What I like about this amp is the chorus and the fact that it is Stereo. These lments t have a choice dcisif for me when buying. Fifteen years ago, this kind of amp did not run the streets.
Before buying, I tried a lot of amp, it had more than the others did not.
With experience, I would do without this choice hsit. Only problem, now this amp is a pice of muse. Even on google, you get not find info on Dean Markley amps marching strong in the years 80-90.
The ratio quality price is excellent. From memory, it was trading at 4,500 francs (686 euros), and I was in promo for 3000 francs (457 euros).

This is a solid-state amp made by Dean Markley. That company has been able to branch out into a lot of different musical products, my favorites are their Blue Steel series of electric guitar strings. This amp has about 100 watts total, 50 for each channel (clean and distorted). There are two 1/4" inputs, and 1/4" jacks for headphones, footswitch, line in and out. Footswitch is sold seperately. There are a bunch of effects, chorus, flanger, reverb, delay, etc.

UTILIZATION

Getting the particular sound that you need for different genres is pretty easy with this amp. There's a lot of room to go around. Most players tend to find their sweet spot and stick with that for the most part though. The controls are comfortable. The effects are tough to get a hold on at first, but eventually you can get used to them. The manual lays out all the details of this amp nicely.

SOUNDS

I was expecting more out of this amp for all the good things I heard about them at the time. For the price, I couldn't believe all the features and the good reviews. I really think this is kind of a weak amp. If you are looking for very cookie-cutter, cliche tones that have minimal character, this is right up your alley. I just prefer amps that have a bright, cutting tone that captures the edge of my playing. This amp doesn't do it. And typical of solid-state amps with tons of effects,

OVERALL OPINION

This amp is pretty cheap, and for that it's a good deal. I just don't think it sounds that great, and for seasoned players, tone becomes very important. I would say only hardcore fans of solid-state should pick this up, everybody else should probably stick to good amps.
