    SOUNDS

I play hard rock and metal. This amp suits me perfectly, the distortion is awesome and are clear are not bad.

I played with a Cort EVL-K2 and I try it with a Fender Stratocaster.

All sounds are good, have can play the intro to Comboye from hell with the flanger, come as you are with the chorus.

    OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 6 months

The pros: I love the effects that are ajoutsa the amp and distortion.
The -: The absence of pdalier.

I buy new 160. The ratio quality price is excellent. The sounds are excellent.

I would try may be the Line 6 Spider III 30 before but if not I would do the same choice.

Hughes & Kettner Edition Blue 15-DFXPublished on 08/09/11 at 14:29
Hughes and Kettner has a plethora of different types of amps for any consumer and just about any style of music. The have the biggest multi channel amps and they have the smallest of wattage amps and even some am modeling and solid state. This is one of those amp that is a small watt solid state amp that is a convenient price and does a simple job and getting you decent enough tones for a practice or home jamming.

This amp is a modeler of its own. It doesn't model anyone else amps but just a solid state clean and lead. It definitely has the Hughes and Kettener tone by far. It has digital effects as well and it makes this amp a perfect practice amp for some. This is the exact same amp as …

This amp is a modeler of its own. It doesn't model anyone else amps but just a solid state clean and lead. It definitely has the Hughes and Kettener tone by far. It has digital effects as well and it makes this amp a perfect practice amp for some. This is the exact same amp as the 60 watt and 30 watt versions but cut the power in half and you get 15 watts. Basically the same features, tone, and voicing as the other wattage editions.

    UTILIZATION

    Channels Clean, Lead
    Power 15 Watts
Poweramp Current Feedback Technology for warm tube-like tone
Effects Dual Digital FX: Digital Reverb, Chorus/Flanger/Delay
    Footswitch/Stageboard No
Special Features 3-Band EQ, CD-Player Input, Headphones Out, blue-lit panel
    Headphones Yes
    CD-Input Yes
    Line Out Yes
    Speakers 1x 8''
    Dimensions 424 x 375 x 195 mm
    Weight 8 kg/18 lbs

    SOUNDS

You get essentially the exact same amp as the other watt editions but this one has 30 watts. This amp has a familiar tone that is distinct to hughes and Kettner. You have a classic clean channel which is a good clean for a solid state amp. The lead is edgy robust dirty channel that has a lot of gain on tap. This amp works with any guitar you throw at it. You can use a Fender Stratocatser or a Gibson Les Paul it really doesn't matter too much. The tone is there and it will adapt to what ever guitar situation you put it in.

This channel has enough gain for just about anyone to you. You also have a wattage selector on the amp as well. This amp is a nice little practice combo amp for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money nor has the need to have a bunch of features.

    OVERALL OPINION

I would recommend this amp to anyone who needs a simple solid state practice amp and needs some effects built right into the amp itself. They have since discontinued this amp so the used market is the only way to go. That way you don't have to lug around a pedal board of effects with you to practice with. This is an easy amp and it puts out enough volume to play in most band's rehearsals.

are the least: the price of 200euros + al epoque and fewer effects than its competitor the Vox AD15VT and no possibility of a switch pedalle except tinkering
Lles and more: lla quallité manufacturing quallité the sounds and effects, the design (the cool blue backlit), the ease of use and a great punch
I would do the same choice but with the same hesitation namely (the vox)

    Transistor amp 15watts.
    1 input jack
    1 headphone
    1 audio behind
The amp was an equalizer, 2 channels (Clean, Lead), 1 master General, 3 small effects (delay, chorus and flanger) and a reverb.

    UTILIZATION

This amp is simple, little button, some electronics, you plug one plays and that's what I liked about this amp. The manual is well done, with examples of settings such as the late blues or otherwise. I play blues-rock and it suits me (previous review: metal) You can say it's a very open amp styles. This

    SOUNDS

H & K agrees quite blues-rock. I play a epiphone sg g-400 are two humbeckers and that's fine, I have an MXR GT-OD (overdrive, distortion) It does very well. …

    SOUNDS

H & K agrees quite blues-rock. I play a epiphone sg g-400 are two humbeckers and that's fine, I have an MXR GT-OD (overdrive, distortion) It does very well. The clean channel is great and as said before, we get everything easily without seeking ten thousand years.
The lead channel: I used very little since I have my foot in spite of that, I roves well too.
I use mostly clean and then switch to the distortion of my pedal. I was not put back but just a little, I personally think it sounds good.

    OVERALL OPINION

I use since December 2009 but I intend to part with it because a lot of failure (a blown fuse, the effects do not work and finally, a tomb that is) I am from take her off again but I will not change over time. It is great for the bedroom, but repeated or even in concert (never tried, for a 15W, it happens but I think we can be much better spent on a 30 or a transition, or lamps. Favourable opinion for room but if you want to start a band, you'd better take the 30.
