Fender Deluxe Powerhouse Strat

I bought it at the local small town music shop 2 years ago for 500 dollars with gig bag. It was very slightly used. Basically they tore off the plastic and decieded they didn't want it. It was in perfect condition.

Great overall guitar. Sounds wonderful with alomst any set-up. Very versitile and very fast neck. My fingers slide really nice thanks to the gloss finsih. The mid-boost is a great feature helps give it a bit more punch.

Don't really need the tremelo, but it doesn't mess the tuning too much. There was too much space where the battery sits and i had to pack it with some foam to stop the battery from bouncing around, but nothing realy that bad about it.

Excelent. Minor lacquer problems in the neck (just from use though) i've replaced 2 tuning gears and some of the screws, but that was my fault i left it in it's case at church camp in the humidity and it sweated.

Great all-round guitar. If you take care of it it'll take care of you. One of the best deals on the fender market and one of the most uderserved guitars. Fairly new model and not that popular yet, but well worth buying.

Got this in a pawn shop, needed a better sounding guitar so I traded a shitty les paul copy and 150 bucks cdn for this Strat (mexican made).

Fast and Easy to play, the 12db tone gives it bit more power then a standard strat. barely ever comes out of tune. overall a good guitar

Needs a bit more crunch, i plan on replacing all the pickups to S. Duncan Hot Rails humbuckers (humbuckers that fit into a single coil solt), takes a 9v battrey that needs to be changed every now and then. and the floating bridge is kinda pointless for the style of music i play (Punk, Hard Rock)

Grate, its a fender.

This is pretty sweet guitar for the price, sounds good, plays well and overall just a good peice...…

Around when was 15 or 16, I decided I wanted to play guitar. I should have bought a car, but instead, I decided on this. I bought this for $520 at Guitar Center in Southfield, Michigan.

I love pretty much everything about this piece of equipment. I love how its black color shines under the light. I love the, I believe the term is "perloid" pickguard. It is a very versatile machine. The bridge/body pick-up combonation has the just the right chunk to play the Metallica and Iron Maiden.

Well, there are a few things I don't like about this. I suppose some of it is my fault. The first time I changed my strings, I went nuts. The tuning pegs were not working out for me. But I dealt with it...…

Well, there are a few things I don't like about this. I suppose some of it is my fault. The first time I changed my strings, I went nuts. The tuning pegs were not working out for me. But I dealt with it and now I am over it. Before I purchased this, I knew very little about guitars. Now I kind of want something with humbuckers so Ican get a thicker sound. But like I said, these pick-ups on this baby give you something to work at. The pick-ups are kind of noisy when distorted and the tone knobs are cranked up, but that is an easy fix, turn the tone down.haha.

I love the feel of everything. The fretboard is nice and smooth. It has a better feel than anyother models I have played. I like how it contours to my fat.haha.

This is a great buy. It broke me buying it (don't let that get you down. I was 16 getting payed 5.50 an hour). I fell in love with it the first time I heard it played. I got goosebumps up and down me, the hairs on my neck stood up and my nipples got hard.haha. If you are in a debate weather you should buy a $520 p.o.s. car or an awesome guitar for the same price, go with this. It will make you much happier.

I bought this from a local shop, only because the online place I ordered it from didn't deliver as promised.
I paid the 500 or so sticker price.

The feel is as good as the $900 American so far as I can tell. The tone is very good, in particular the 2nd switch setting, has a great tele/strat twang to it.
I did replace the bridge pickup with a Seymour Duncan '59 but only because I wanted a bit more bite on the 1st switch, the included single coil sounds just fine for what it is.
The fit and finish was superb on all visible areas. The onlt issue, and this really is just getting nit-picky, was some paint run under the pickguard, again, nit picky.
Plays fantastic, sounds great.

I knew it only had 21 frets, which is standard Strat stuff, but I wish it had 22.
Otherwise, none, nada, bupkus.

Excellent overall quality. It feels like a solid piece of gear, unlike some cheaper, knock offs, (or squire's)

Fine piece of equipment, if you are looking for a 500ish dollar Kickin' Guitar, this is it. Also I forgot to mention the Mid Boost on the bottom knob, this works out great if you want a lead boost without using another piece of gear.
