«  A great surprise »

Jackson Dinky JS32TQ Arch Top - Transparent Black, exactly: it was put into my legs in exchange for Ibanez SA series which is supposed to be better because more expensive, but I have not managed to get by me the setting the bridge. I needed a guitar "jam" practice, muscular but not too expensive. So in the meantime that the Ibanez is repaired and resold, I learn to discover this guitar, and at the same time the Jackson brand which I had only heard about.

UTILIZATION

The body is super nice. The "transparent black", at least on mine, however, is a tad dark, suddenly it puts doubt in the eye of girls into the bar, then they come together to ensure that there is good beautiful maple shades visible on the table. Finally it's not a bad thing.

Level run I would have preferred less freight "jumbo" but it's true that I'm used to Fender. The neck is thin, and oddly it's still nice chord input on top of the handle, I can not wait to test slide! Two full octaves is very convenient for fools of the waterfall, and as my grandmother used to say "who can do more can do less." For my part, I will very rarely beyond the 15th box, it's vulgar p.
To the downside, I would have more angle to the "end of the frets, and the back of the handle is passed to the matt varnish, which is not really my preference, but it may be a case of personal taste.

SOUNDS

We did not have much choice (two humbuckers, not splitables, 3-position selector and basta) but is not limited to that: the pickups are very worthy as they are powerful, they do not buzzent, and if they are not as hot as DiMarzio, however, they deserve to be very consistent: in fact it can reduce its volume guitar almost half before hearing the overdrive just begin to soften! Suffice to say that it's very convenient if one is two-thirds rule in rhythmic, and simply pushes the volume knob to 100% to switch lead. I guess these are the same two stock pickups, but my preference in terms of his view is clearly in the bridge position.

OVERALL OPINION

I was filled with a priori before trying it. Like "Jackson is that for metalheads", "at this price point there is necessarily a poor thing: microphones, touch, I do not know but there was always something." Well, no: the Dinky Arch Top Ackson JS32TQ completely fit its promise: it is a very good guitar HH admittedly bare-bones (no vibrato, no micro simple, no double switch), but not limited provided, and to the point: she is pretty stable, the neck is nice and the pickups are downright muscular.
