neck pickup: Duncan Designed sh1
micro bridge: Duncan Designed sh4 replaced later by a Di Marzio Super Distortion DP100.
Fixed bridge type les paul.
selector has 5 mic positions, cable splits in positions 2 and 4.
volume and tone.
Graphite shielded electronics cavity plate shield aluminum. Is appreciable.
buy 500 used guitar a year ago.
The wood is of good quality.

Note, however, a few light finish defects: a slight stall in the binding of the head, but Luckily person besides me has never paid attention.

rating: 8 because at this price we would hope to put the real Seymour Duncan, and because the table is not hyper flame (but it's already pretty good).

UTILIZATION

The handle allows a driver to access exellent treble. it is more pais a row handle, but less than a round of strata. The key is flat. Once in hand, it is rather comfortable and easy to play. The fact that it is an exellent driver allows transmission of vibrations and nuances of the game

Proves to balance the guitar, well think pleasant.
The varnish is unassailable, a real shield. You only manages to scratch, and again.

The guitar vibrates the game is very fun. We do not feel like a lifeless piece of wood in his hands.

The two knobs are the settings are easy to find, they are not loose, are progressive ... good material. Purists criticized for not having a volume and tone with microphone.

So I put 9, because of the lack of separate setting for the pickups, but I quibble.

SOUNDS

On the neck pickup Duncan Designed sh1:
Output level rather low and mids down to a vintage PAF typ. Exellent for blues and rock, this proves to micro fine, adjusting knobs with revealing all sorts of subtle nuances. Mild but can be aggressive, this proves to micro in all cases relatively warm and precise. A micro exellent. In Split, the sound is a little too thin. But it is pleasant. I prefer my microphone used to bridge the split, it makes best, against all odds.
The sh1 of Seymour Duncan is a bit better, it sounds a little richer and a level of output a bit higher. But Duncan Designed is already very good.

On the micro bridge Duncan Designed sh4:
More powerful than sh1, with more midrange and treble forward, this microphone is very versatile. From rock to metal, it is used and issued sounds correct. Attention is limited to metal, it was because of this that I replaced elsewhere. This mic is a classic and we know why, it's a value. For the extra hard.
On my new micro bridge, DP100 Super distortion Di Marzio:
Micro Powerful ceramic heat and precise, it opens the voice of metal. Associated with h-302, it delivers a medium very, very typical 80's metal. I do not regret this change, the guitar is now even more versatile. It is very easy to saturate the amps restive.
In split, it's a good surprise, it is very slamming, precise, crystalline, and easily saturate the amplifier.
Changed a great amount.

Influence of the violin:
It highlights the mediums, vibrates, the sound is very good vacuum and has a very good projection for a solid body. The woods are of quality and it shows in the sound.
The handle driver transmits a terrific game and the nuances of the vibrations is ideal for tapping, for example.

9 because once the pickups changed, we have an instrument that is well worth it. With the original mics, let's say 8, when the same sounds a bit worse than Seymour. But I'm demanding.

OVERALL OPINION

I t from the latter.
I love the violin and the handle, but rather regret not having more than seeing a flaming table.
I tried the G270, the fender lite ash, the roxanne 200, ibanez, the Variax 300 .....
The value for money is very correct.

This choice I would do so, because this guitar is not found, and her replacement for that matter (the h-400).
