Installation without any glitch, even on an old pc (except maybe the CSR requires a minimum).
The software is sufficient in itself because the proposed aid is perfect (I still struggle with the aid of software, you know F1? But this is the cake).
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
Perfect.
I have a laptop that has two years, I bought it because it is convenient but not a laptop, I was not in the idea of making a machine sound. Basically level sound card, I do not know where I am, but it works!
It is a tool (it is providing training could not be more helpful) to build or to write his tablature or sheet music (treble clef or F) or see what others were expecting.
Your tons of instruments which each (at least) a sound by CSR. (Percussion are also there!).
Sufficient number of runs (12 max I think). With opportunities to choose the color for each of them, it's very convenient.
Effects: Chorus Phaser, Reverb, Tremolo + WahWah (open, closed, bypass), it also has a balance (left-right) and volume
It is known to make bends, syncope, choose any tempo (but really any of 1 to 400), level of strength of high pianissimo fortissimo piano, rehearsing with coda, cut copy paste option perfect for slides, the vibrato, the hammers and pull-offs, harmonics creshendo, the grace notes, the palm-mute ... It's enough fun, and above all, well build and then listen to what happens.
Level, CSR ...
I did not find useful ... Not great but certainly made the sound foun 'standard' is sufficient. We do not ask to hear a cd from GuitarPro.
I use it especially to set up the solos (by cutting other tracks or what. And above all, with M. students which is great is that GP is a kind of drum machine, just build the battery and here we go (in midi, but here we go).
OVERALL OPINION
A real asset, a tool ...
I use it for 2 years (not GuitarPro 5) makes it a great teacher for beginners. I would have kept the faith and also again GuitarPro is safe. It is a tool and a great advantage compared to the internet without tablatures rhythms and sometimes without action, a real asset. Obviously it is not free 60 euros but if you hesitate to buy the demo version is valid for 30 days try it!
