UTILIZATION

Many tone possibilities
The bass, middle, treble controls are "interactive" and each affects the volume of the other two
It's easy to get sounds out of it

SOUNDS

The 10" speaker renders a mids-heavy sound, obviously
It's impossible to get the roundness and warmth of an amp with a 12" speaker.
Nevertheless, the speaker is fine and reproduces your playing very faithfully
Rock sounds mainly
The distortion channel is very good, so the 10" speaker is less of a worry there
And finally, the boost (only on the distortion channel) is very melodious.

OVERALL OPINION

The subway rocket is a very good compromise for a home-studio thanks to its multiple possibilities and all the connections.
It's a bit light for rehearsals, especially the clean sound
For live gigs, it needs a PA system
The 10" speaker lacks roundness, as I've said before.
You can find it for about $650-$800, which is OK.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of its basic sound.
I use it as a second amp mostly, to complete its basic sound.
