A guitar made in Japan with 24 frets, two EMG (81/85), an original Floyd, a knob overall volume, and a knob for volume micro individual and a selector - nothing too exciting-and a handle through with an ebony fingerboard. Note the binding and the contour of the guitar pearl, the most beautiful effect, and a head in reverse. An electronic active.

UTILIZATION

A very ergonomic handle, between RG (Ibanez) and SG (Gibson) for the thickness, but an unusual width, very narrow. Not necessarily or even embarrassing and enhancer dexterity. It was a V style case, so for access to acute ... Perfect. The shape, you're forced to play for troubadour seated but it has its charm and not disturbing once mastered. The weight is perfect and is very light and has a perfect balance. It's nice to finally play with a guitar that not sting the nose when the loose ... The sound ... bah emg + + neck-through instrument making copies, you can expect a sound ... the least exciting. And they are right!

SOUNDS

Playing all kinds of metal (death in the black through the doom) of the beast or stoner rock, the set of microphones suitable. The form is quite appropriate too, Floyd and torn, but we shall return. I play on ENGL Powerball, a multi AX3000G our Japanese home favorite of Korg in the loop. Then the guitar. I must admit that I play almost continuously with the neck pickup, which has its highs and rich midrange compressed, with a powerful bass. Both pickups combined, we obtain a more bold, even more messy, but who can pass for doom or grind. The clean sounds are very nice, the pickups LACHANT handle a more slamming, and the bridge pickup produces a sound much more rounded and serious, we get a nice combination, and with that sound very soft but still crystalline. The best effect with a chorus and a reverb a little delay. The floyd is an original (I was tired of that licensed pops in two months). So: solid! You can toss in all the sense it is good. And artificial harmonics ... and dive bomb ... A treat. The sustain is not altered by the floyd, and you come out fine "WinWait" has the Dimebag (God rest his soul).

Edit (20/11/08): I must do settle, because at the level of the saddle claps ... it sucks, it gave me it at first too, but I'm not worried. The AC starts to be rented.
Edit (36/13/1984): I did it settle and there's more clapping. Yippee!

OVERALL OPINION

It's been several months since I use it now, and still not found a weak point. It suits me perfectly, although it is traveling, she is versatile enough (yes you can play with the Indochina j't'assure). I play a Dean ML 30th anniversary, and I always use it for different tunings. They go well together, each in a style. Regarding the price, you must expect at least one snap in the minimum wage (but I got it at 600 euros with pipes niark) ... yeah ... 1200 in these waters there (in France of course, so go on Thomann and you have 760). But hey, even if in itself does not apply AC on the guitar market, it has the right place in good quality / price. Ca va. Anyway, in the same price range as F400 home Ltd., the choice is quickly made.
