all the volume and tone pots were noisy when I turned them, so it must be changed

I got this guitar from gak.com for £200, but its normally £280. I got it cos its a jackson, and its a whole lotta metal! its pure shredder!

Its got a phat neck, really smooth, and wafer thin, so playin solos is a doddle. The pickups sound really nice on clean, and it has a floydd rose. It is a sexy beast, too. Specially for the price, its a damn good guitar. As good as an epiphone les paul, easily, and a few bob cheaper

Though floydd roses are awsome, they get bloody annoying, and they are sooooo high maintanance. the pickups could stand to be a tad crunchier, but thats just me nit-picking.

couldnt be better, solid body, nice and heavy, everything screwed on tight. sweet.

a damn good guitar, if youve got the money and patience to deal with getting a floydd rose set up. Well worth a look into.

I live in Budapest, Hungary. I bought this brand new guitar in a well known guitar dealer in Budapest.I was looking for especially a japan Jackson model. I paid 99000Ft (approx. 400bucks).

I had to choose between 3 guitar: jackson fx fusion, ps4, and js30. I tried all, and that was the real bargain. It's a 2002 model, and the others are much older, and that counts. It has the most versatile sound of all. I play Metallica in general, Hendrix, GnR, RHCP, and other styles as well. It's perfect with a Marshall valvestate in every way. The JT500 floyd rose tremolo is awesome; hard to believe but its true that after 2 month of intensive play, i've never needed to tune the strings. Not at last the guitar looks fuckin' cool.

There's nothing i dont like about it. Maybe it would looked a little cooler with sharkfin inlays (but that is the DXMG model with active EMG pickups).

Quality is all right, tremolo's durability kicks ass -that's important!! Unfortunately it fell down once. It landed on the side of the neck. Nothing happened thank God. My previous guitar was a Les Paul cover, and that's neck bended a bit after an impact. By the way the alder body is very soft, it can be easily hurt. Better be careful.

I'm very happy with this guitar. Easy to play with, nice sound, real Jackson quality. It's good to know that Jackson makes all products the highest quality whether in the U.S.A or Japan.

I purchased this amazing guitar from a store in Athens,Greece for 400$.I wanted a starter guitar so for this price range it is the best.Its a strat like guitar with
two humbuckers and double lock tremolo.
It's definetly better than an Ibanez RG270,and other close prized Jacksons,Epiphones and ESPs.Plus that is made in Japan ,contrary to the others that are made in Korea.


Fast neck,excellent woods,2 nice Jackson humbuckers(which are recommended to be replaced by EMGs),the construction(Japan!!!) , the double locking tremolo and the reversed headstock.

I hate that Jackson doesn't offer it in other colors than the metallic black,blue and red.It would be great to offer it with its great transparent colors and i hate the black color i chose.It gets dirty easily.And the factory strings are just awful.After ten days they had changed shape!!!Replaced with D'Addario during its setup and it is now complete.


Excellent(Japan)!!!!Nicely painted and constructed carefully with every detail.Typical Jackson quality.Excellent!



I am happy to have one.It's a well built guitar good for guitarists of every level.

Far better than my friends' RGs and ESPs.A metal guitar(and not only) that will stay your friend forever.
If you change the humbs with EMGs you will be delighted.Excellent starter guitar.Great value for money.It could cost much more.

I do not know where she makes you, it's just crit "crafted in India" on the back of the head, so voila.
24 frets, 2 humbucker pickups that look like a jackson CVR2 fine EMG, AAIS is a guitar with passive electronic level and the pickups are passive, too.
The strings through the wood, and the bridge is a JT390 adjustable, just like you see on the foto.
The hardware is chrome, the mcaniques are a oil bath I think.
There is a 3 position selector (neck pickup, bridge pickup and two) there are two pots, one for volume and another for the Tone.
Bolt, rosewood fingerboard.

UTILIZATION

The handle end is that I like, it is very fast (good for solos), and fingers glide easily, I have nothing to add this cot for the price of this guitar.
Access to treble is good for a guitar of this shape and it's not for me dplaire.
Which is that it is my tonn trslgere, but only downside is that it pike head, it's no big deal but still!
I love its shape which is reminiscent of the kelly and esp ex (Hetfield powaaaa! Lol), you just have to be careful not to hit the tip of the large peak at the back against a wall!
In sound, this guitar is made for the mtal, there is no doubt about it.
But she dbouille pretty good clean sound (must settle the amp as well)

SOUNDS

Ben I play mostly rock and mtal (very few true rock), and it is very suitable for this function (metallica, soulfly etc ...)
I play a Line 6 Spider II amp 30watts and I find that the sounds are really good with the scraper, the distortion is excellent (I fell in love with the insane!), The clean sounds are cool but the cons by must come from a bad rglage the drive. The bass are well understood and treble are good trs (insane when you hold us lol)
My favorite is the distortion with this guitar, you really feel that it is only for the metal.
I will soon buy the Spider II HD 150watt with the baffle so it's really for playing metal.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for almost 5 months for anything I change, I test a lot of guitars in this style (warlock bronze, ltd ex-50 ... etc) and the one who's on my more convinced of its super fine round, its Access in acute trs good, and its sound distortion which is beautiful.
This is a guitar for beginners that I am (a little over a year in the arm) and I find it appropriate to start trs well (I had an imitation tenson strata was a synth or sound of my purchase! lol)
I think I will remake this purchase, as is the guitar for the price I paid (329 euros).

UTILIZATION

The handle is faithful to the Holy Father Jackson, like any end. Made for a quick game, it slides right in the palm of your hand, what a real pool. I had an old stick Millnots with rough-hewn to assurancetourisx, as slippery as sandpaper, I can tell you that things change! A screw through the handle will fix it. I do not think the mechanics are in oil baths (normal at this price point) but they are quite correct. The position of the pots and pickup selector are properly positioned.
Accessibility to acute is average: not bad when one starts on the thin rope, but more difficult (because of the heel stick screwed) when starting from the grave. The guitar is not too heavy and most importantly, very well balanced. The shape is great, but hey, it's a matter of taste, we like it or not.
So far, so that's good. The problem is that the wooden handle, although the qualities in terms of tone (for the price range) and play, tend to work, and not half. So I have a guitar that goes wrong very often, and I must re-regulate N-th time (set neck, height of the bridge, harmonics, and strings ...) as many say it fast soule. The most annoying is that the handle is twisted in the longitudinal (twisted relative to the axis formed by the handle) which is not adjustable. So I am compelled to strongly back the bridge at the expense of fast play and easy to handle which was designed! Without this setting the asset freeze on the bass string freight No. 1. So forget the big play to tie the Drop C. I bought this new Jackson, I have always taken great care and have never stored in a damp room. But when I got it, the strings were slightly rusty, imagine what the storage conditions in which it was. I do not know if the seller never or trade mark is responsible.
The guitar can sometimes be very nice for 1 month with an easel set relatively low, and then one morning the drama ...
And because it's a really good guitar but that this problem does not care a bit while in the air, I put 4.

SOUNDS

The Warrior is aptly named, it is made to send the country pate, but also knows how to stay versatile and surprisingly even in clean. Playing mainly of metal: Metallica, Pantera, Gojira, Dagoba, this guitar suits me. The pickups really amazed me to Jackson, I expected a bit poo to 2 boxes, but not all. In full on the bridge, the sound is precise, the palm-muted doing well. Saturation articulate, they are granted, no spitting or too sharp nor too severe. In clean, sound can be warm with a good modeling amp and can give really cool things. The switch to middle position (bridge + neck) may provide an interesting alternative.
FYI, I play a Line 6 Spider II combo 75 watts, and frankly I'll not say it's enough to retract the village priest, but not far. For the price range, when the handle does not spin (too) and do not give me want to get out the chainsaw, I put 9.

OVERALL OPINION

It's been 3 years I use this guitar. I like the handle end, slipping and quick game. I like the look of unusual Warrior, finish and overall pretty nice pickups that have the respondent.
I hate the twist of the handle that makes me want me to bury myself fingers in the sockets to the brain, and toss the whole story to see if I still feel something ...
The days of murderous madness aside, its value for money is very good. It may be a good first or second guitar. Metal type, it retains some flexibility in contrast to what could pretend let her look.
I can only advise you not to order it on the web, and watch his neck before you buy.
If the strings are already on in normal tuning and that the handle seems right then I would highly recommend it, otherwise, take a look at ESP or Dean.
