I like everything about this guitar, no flaws at all once the pickups are changed. Great value and quality for the price. I have played many body styles and the Kelly has been my shape for a few years now, replacing the Flying V. The Jackson Performer Series Kelly is a comfortable, easy to play, great looking rocking guitar...
I got this in mint condition so I got a great example of what they were like brand new 22 years ago. I've played many Jackson Rhoads, from the RR3 all the way to a few custom shops. While the custom shops are amazing they're just pretty different now from 20 years ago. They now use alder instead of poplar and have a different neck carve. Per...
These X series guitars are super solid well built guitars. Before with Jackson you had the USA stuff on the super high end and their super low end stuff that was just junk. There was hardly anything in the midrange. But not there are good guitars that combine the affordability of the import guitars with the quality and construction of the USA mo...
I like the X series overall. Before all the mid to low end Jacksons were bolt ons and they didnt really retain the real Jackson feel. These guitars are built with the same methods as the USA models and they all have a similar feel to them. If you are looking for a Jackson guitar that is affordable but still has the Jackson feel you should try an...
The X series is a nice line of guitars and it is well priced. You get much of the same features as the USA models but with import prices. If you dropped a set of high end pickups in this guitar it would sound every bit as good as a USA made RR1T. If you are looking at buying a Jackson I would check out one of these X series guitars before you go...
You dont see many people playing these guitars any more. Their image proceeds them. If you see someone playing a King V you can expect some crazy thrash metal or something. It is a modern classic and still retains the great playability that came with guitars in the 80s. If you are looking for a heavy metal flying V that plays like butter this is...
If you are looking for a Jackson RR but dont like tremolos this is a great deal. RR1T's are pretty rare and cost just as much as a normal RR1. This guitar has all the same features of an RR1T for like 1/2 the price. This guitar has great aftermarket pickups and great Jackson playability. What more could you need.
This is a great metal guitar. It has the looks and the tone but does not sacrifice playability and comfort. The radical design helps playability and comfort by giving you ultimate balance. The EMG's are the ultimate setup for metal. They are not that great for anything else but if you are buying a Warrior you arent likely to be buying it for blu...
RR5, best buy for the money. Hard tail for those who hate floyds. Awesome rock/metal shape to look great on stage, high quality construction since it's MIJ. Versatile set of pickups included. What else does anybody need??? Maybe a good case. That might be hard to come by, and sitting down playing needs getting used to. Otherwise, a great guitar,...
I like the aesthetics of the rhoads shape, but I don't like the feel of it. Your mileage may vary. The lower horn bumps into my leg alot. The floyd not staying in tune is a big no no for me, and while the pickups are not the best, they can get it done if you're playing all out metal. There are much better options for a a metal guitar at this pri...
