«  Product to seriously consider »

Published on 09/12/13 at 10:07
After the registration phase on site in German Sennheiser (AF thank you for clarification if you do not speak the language), the download is done smoothly.
Installation and registration via the activation of Native Instruments software to use the license in Kontakt.
Anyway no problem for me as opposed to what I've seen on the forum.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

I use a quad core i5 iMac with 12 GB of Ram, a firestudio interface and Studio One Pro 2 software.
No problem it turns nikel, samples load fast on my config.
This seems to be reasonable CPU usage.
No crash to report at this time.

OVERALL OPINION

I tested it on two or three songs. The sounds are good, humanizing a little timing and the velocity and very realistic. More with the progressive Velocity option.
Different microphones each bring an interesting touch to the kit components. The mixer is effective and EQ, Comp and Transcient Designer satisfactory but not as good as dedicated plugins. The only regret is the snare that sounds a bit too much for my taste (no adjustment decay). By routing elements on separate outputs from Kontakt and aplliquant plugins quality, little to correct this problem.
The presets available at the mixer seem to be good starting points, however if you prefer to use the mixer plugins.
With a little attention and listening can be able to produce a sound very convincing battery, up to some paid products.
I prefer the Abbey Road series in NI but price / quality (free), it is to be considered seriously.
I recommend at least trying it for judging.
