Overall I was amazed with the Toon Track superior Drummer 2.0. I havent seen a better virtual drum machine out and no one can tell by listening that it isn’t actual real live drums that you are playing. The drums can be used for any genre of music production from hip hop, to jazz , rock, metal. There is also built in midi drum grooves. You can a...
It does what it says and is a great value. That's what I like about it. Toontrack packed a lot of drums into this expansion and I'm impressed with the variety. Like any superior product they sound great...when used with the right context.
I have to say, while the vsti itself is much improved in look and feel from the old toontrack stuff, the biggest positive here are the samples. They're just great. I don't think any other vsti can compare. The price, considering what you get is appropriate. I definitely recommend it if you need a way to get pro drums tracks in the studio.
I’ve used and continue to use Superior Drummer 2 on plenty of projects, mixed with Addictive Drums and Steven Slate (I admit it, I’m a drum samplers junkie). But between the 3, SD2 is the more realistic and tweakable. I’ve used mainly in pop, rock and metal productions in conjunction with the “Joe Barresi Evil Drums SDX”. ...
I love the sound quality. This really is the best acustic drum kit simulation. Every expansion is quality. The claustrophobic kit is great for hip hop and so is the pop / rock kit. I have even found the 2 funk kits and the jazz useful. The way the sounds fit into beats is phenomenal. Since it's such a simple plugin there isn't mu...
After one week, I am convinced of the software's quality and realistic sound. I had been a long-time Groove agent fan but when I updated to version 3 the sound was awful and it was also very unreliable, so I purchased EZDrummer (via download) and both optional kits (Vintage and percussions). The value for money is exceptional, the audio qu...
I have been using ezDrummer for the past year or so. I absolutely love it. The drums sound very good right off the bat, and then you are able to customize the samples in the kit, the levels of each one, the amount of room sound, the bleed on the 'mics', and you can also route the individual channels to their own track in your DAW for further p...
I started using it a few days ago, I really like the way it sounds (both the basic pop/rock kit and the DFH extension pack are awesome) and the fact that its use is intuitive. I used to work with free drum samplers or drum machines such as Blue Noise's MyDrumsets, Loopazoid (a great tool but you have to find your own samples elsewhere) or Cubase...
How long you use it? Few hours, and I'm having What is so special that you love the most, least? Very simple ... well designed. on the other hand I do not like the interface ... What I have to f ... to have an image of a battery that wanderlust ... The main functions - the selection of samples - are not directly visible ....
I would like to use it since July but it does not work! and seller in Paris which I will not name asked me 95 / € h to remedy this .. when I bought him a lot of things .. .. I remain perplexed Toontrack site is no better .. they look like lost souls for two months .. In any case even if I eventually go do it again this choice beca...
