Impact Soundworks has released Shreddage 2 IBZ, a virtual guitar sample library designed for rock & metal music.
Shreddage 2 IBZ features the detailed sound of a recorded classic 7-string electric guitar. Powered by KONTAKT PLAYER, the instrument gives musicians the ability to create and perform rhythm and lead guitar parts in any DAW.
Over 13,000 24-bit samples were recorded for the library spanning all frets on all seven strings, plus up to 8 variations per note. All crucial playing techniques were captured as well, such as power chords, tremolo, harmonics, slides, scrapes, hammer-on & pull-off, six layers of palm mutes, and more. Users can map and customize these articulations to suit most any MIDI, DAW, and performance setup.
Shreddage 2 IBZ runs in the free Native Instruments KONTAKT PLAYER plugin, compatible with virtually all DAWs and plugin formats. It is available now for the introductory price of $99 for Shreddage 2 owners, and $119 for new customers. These prices will increase to $119 and $139, respectively, on October 14, 2015. A bundle containing both Shreddage 2 and Shreddage 2 IBZ is also currently available for $219.
