New Spitfire Horn, Trumpet and Bone Phalanx brass samples for the British Modular Library series

With the three Phalanx sound libraries, Spitfire completes the brass sections of its British Modular Library Series.

The Phalanx sub-series currently features three volumes: Horn, Trumpet and Bone, the first is already available, the two others should no be long.

Each collection features the samples of a 6-instrument section that were placed around the BML Horn Section Vol.1 for Horn Phalanx, Trumpet Corps Vol.1 for Trumpet Phalanx and Bones Vol.1 for the Bone Phalanx. You can then complete your current BML brass sections without any sound alteration and create or reinforce large ensembles.

You’ll find in each Phalanx library more than 10 articulations (long and short notes, marcato, legato, tongue, rips, falls) as well as multiple microphone perspectives. Note that for Horn, the library that is already available, you’ll only get the Close, Tree, Ambient and Outrigger mic positions, Spitfire will release the Stereo Pair, Close Ribbon, Gallery, Mid Range as well as 3 mixes by Jake Jackson early 2015. This library features 14 450 samples in 32-bit (21.5GB uncompressed and 9GB in compressed Kontakt NCW).

Each Phalanx also includes the now classic Ostinatum to create complex patterns as well as various controls in the full version of Kontakt 5 (pitch, velocity, round robins, transpose, expression…).
