Lux Nox Perc+ percussion library for Kontakt available until March 31st

If you did not have the opportunity to get the Perc+ percussion library for Kontakt last December, you’ve got one week to catch up.

Lux Nox indeed is giving you a new opportunity to purchase Perc+ until the end of the month. To do so, go to www.vi-control.net and donate $25 or more. The collection was released at the end of 2014 in order to collect funds for the Mr Holland’s Opus Foundation, which is dedicated to offering new and refurbished instruments to school music programs that need it. Your donations this week will also help this organization in exchange for 14.5 GB of percussion sounds for use in Kontakt in orchestral, traditional and more experimental/sound design projects.

Perc+ features 128 patches for Kontakt (this includes the recently launched XP1 update that almost doubles the content of the original library), which includes cymbals, bells, gongs, objects, small percussions, tuned instruments as well as an upright piano and a viola da gamba. You get up to 10 round robins and 20 layer velocities depending on the instruments.

The interface for Kontakt 5.1 offers attack, release, velocity, gain, pan controls, a three-band EQ as well as a full effect page with saturation, compressor, transient processor, tape saturation, chorus, flanger, reverb and a rotator.
