SOUNDS

expression of keyboard sounds and I agree;
at the time I bought it was for me the best keyboard for my use. today, I do not know, there may be better at the actual sounds ... I use mostly piano sounds, violins cellos, organs (top). because I am a pianist, I would like to have more realistic sounds, hear more hammers on the strings! but it's really not bad at all especially since we can edit finely, then its potential remains to be explored.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 10 years without any problem, in studio and live.
I apprécis especially the multiplicity of sounds, heavy hit and seven octaves, the speed of operation thanks to its touch screen.
I do not like to carry its weight, but it is less heavy and bulky than a real piano!
I do not know the current walk synths in this category so I do not know if its price / quality ratio is good. what I know is that the quality is there because after 10 it is new and it is not obsolete at the sounds and the investment seemed enormous at the time is profitable and for as long as it hard!

Navigation ultra-simple programming sounds very simple for anyone who knows the synthesis and analog digitale.A note that the map is a reproduction MOSS Korg Z1.

SOUNDS

I bought this keyboard on a whim (thank you Royez Music in Lille!) Because I had not taken any money on me ... Hervé made me try this brand new keyboard that came back Store: Result I left with ... (Hervé and I paid the next day)
The sound is extraordinary: The pads are very deep, very broad, incisive rhodes, organ with the Leslie effect on the bend ... The sounds of bells marimba & are very powerful as well.
What I like about the Triton is that you can use sounds very realistic or futuristic as you arrangez.Petit flat composed on pianos "classic" sounding a bit fake (especially at a time plugins ultra realistic). Remember also that the vocoder sounds rather wooden & complicated to configure. The integrated sampler is also not bad at all.

OVERALL OPINION

I will tell you very simply: If I had one piece of my studio to keep, it would surely be it. I bought the Triton in 1999 (at the time of the franc) in 2012 & it is still faithful to the post: Rugged and reliable.
To compose is really great: The touch is really nice, sounds very inspiring. in Pro Tools, it may "tarnish" the sound a bit so it is neat and clean.
If you are a novice or experienced musician, this synth will not disappoint. He is my companion for many years and I hope it will remain so long!

SOUNDS

the synthetic sounds are excellent (especially with the optional MOSS map)
against by the acoustic sounds are quite uneven across
special mention to the map and extansion MOSS EXB PCM05 (vintage sounds)

OVERALL OPINION

retired at home since 2007, although he still morflé ... rust, loose connections on the audio outputs and sliders, to pick up hammers etc. Total.

I keep it anyway in hopes of completely retype (not for resale but with replay of course, is to say the interest I feel for him ...)

paid cash at eddie's music in so.cal(they beat guitar cr. with the skb case, stand, and pedals) for $3500 otd/all. why= i'm a project musician, mostly drums, and wanted full, weighted keys to practice with, and quickly got bored with other keyboards.

i've had it for 2 years, have'nt had to pick up the manual (yet!). very easy to get around, and in it. i am constantly surprised by the patches, and what you can do with them. for ex., play a drum loop, bass guiter left hand, piano right, and when you strike hard, a horn section kicks in. the samples, and synth-sounds are gnarly! it keeps me very busy.it is VERY cool to have 88.

i practice with a set of killer h-phones, and when i gig, it's difficult to reproduce the exact sounds i hear thru the phones-even though it's going thru a monster p.a.! the piano, strings and woodwinds are'nt as true as through the head-phones. the lows can explode the subwoofers if i'm not careful,but that's actually something i LIKE! it's a beast! with the case, it weighs a ton and i have to wear an athletic support so i don't pop a nut..also, i can't fit easily thru switch-back doorways and staircases. must watch out for small children and pets.

tough guy! i've banged it around a bit and it keeps on tickin... the aluminum fininsh is kinda porous, and picks up hand oils, then makes it tough to clean, because i'm afraid of chemicals...same with the sound ribbon and touch-screen... i know what you're thinkin, but dirt-happens! i wish it had more outs (configurations and XLR)

big and beautiful! good cheesy noise. the size and weight are a hassle for set-up, breakdown, and transport, but helps on stage 'cause it does'nt move when i slam it, and it makes me look thinner.

- Synth 88-key piano: a touch of good quality even for the "purists" of the piano sound like me, they say a little lightweight, personally, I got well done knowing that it allows to fast games.
- Controller for the full range
- Connection INTERESTED today but insufficient given the competition (no USB, SCSI option, no smart MDIA)
- Trs sounds good, especially for electronic music, the way Acoustic
However, through the sampler, there are ways to get a good sound bank supplmentaires and fill the (small) lack
- Polyphonic correct even if better, however I have never had, even in squenceur configuration of problem

UTILIZATION

It is the strong point!

No programmer in me, yet I have no problem to edit or porgrammer anything.
I do not speak of the great touch screen that gives the impression of driving a table numrique fingertips: effect guaranteed squenceur mode!

Trs good manual in French ... but almost useless!

SOUNDS

Sounds good on the whole well by effects aids standards, for those who dbutent it is INTERESTED to see how the combinations and are made to observe the routing and the use of insertion in feets and Matra.

The only regret is the acoustic sounds a little cheap, long live the sampler that saves us!

OVERALL OPINION

You understood, I am a good machine trs.
It combines everything you need and more to make music, all kinds of music.
And even if it emerges from time to time botes sounds of fire (eg in the pattern of Yam), I am a hard dfaire my Triton Pro X if only as for its friendly and exemplary ergonomics.

Has pretty much all you need in a workstation--nice sampler, nice sequencer, TONS of sounds that cover most/all genres. Only grife is not a whole lot/any room for saving samples, but SCSI drives aren't too expensive, hmm, why haven't I gotten one????

Price paid: $2000 USD

Great cust. suuport, great manual, extremely intuitive interface, and you gotta love that touch screen LCD!

It's ok for everything, which is why it's not tops for your/my thing, if you get my drift. Also not a whole lot of tweakablity.

OVERALL OPINION

Again great customer support, mainly online with tons of boards/users out there. All the knobs seem very sturdy and smooth, definitely well put together and road-ready.

Just wish it had more room/knobs to tweak and more memory. Other than those nitpicks it's an incredible piece.
