All the midi instruments in tracks, have the right parameter settings like, reverbs, delays, chorus,etc,and everything in right levels. So the background instrumental is OK with Midi effects. Then the information I create in one Sonar midi track (prog. change), is to control the two external processor effects, connected to an analogic mixer. One of them process the effects for the microfone, the other one process the effects for the guitar. In this way I have the automation to control the effects without touch any knob alive, I just start the midi backgrund, sing and play the guitar. So, I wanna do this in the same way, but working with the InterFX effects. I don´t want send the effects for the midi files, but send them for two channels in tha NRV10 mixer, one for the microfone, the other one for the guitar. Can you tell me, if is possible controll the effects as I described before, instead a midi file background, do the similar procedure with an audio background too? I'm having a problem with this new operating system. When I plug in a mic into the stock sound card (RealTeck) no sound comes out. Now before you go and say "Try a new mic" I'm positive that it works as I plugged it into my guitar amp two feet away and it worked fine. When I try to set up the audio devices in Adobe Audition it says that sound driver isn't installed. This isn't true and I've tried to unistall and reinstall with no avail. Device manager in control panel on Vista is absolutely useless in this situation as there are just two volume controls; one for vista and one for devices. Anyways after this huge story I've written here what it boils down to is this question: Is Adobe Audition capable of running on Vista? -does or has anyone seen it? Does anyone know of anything that I might be doing wrong as far as the device settings go, or any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
