Value For Money : Poor
The "paper" that had me have to be the ideal keyboard. TP40 keyboard wooden weighted like a piano, good quality internal sounds, use noon practice, weight, size etc ....

Once the keyboard under your fingers, although the surface "ivroy feel" is nice, but although a little exaggerated in terms of texture, but the comfort of the keys are pressed is there.

Regarding midi response to the internal sounds, or managing software from a computer, IVORY or other ... I find, heavy, I mean, a little weird question reaction, not very pleasant. At the moment I play on a North clavia piano (keyboard seemingly FATAR!) And Kurzweil SP76, and these 2 keyboards respond clockwork, implementation noon, or else how to handle the response, in short, seems to me not accomplished. Trying in the same conditions a Kawai CA10 digital piano with their heavy touch, the answer is much more natural. And even configuring the touch I have not felt this stuff instinctively makes you say, OK, this is really a good and well-reactive nervous keyboard ... no, no, no ... shame!

Sounds:

PIANO, not bad, though sometimes a bit hit and miss in the response stamps. And especially their option resonant piano sounds is ... how to say?? why they did that? NORTH accustomed to in IVORY (soft) etc. ... I do not understand what they did? ? it's more like a reverb as a harmonic modeling, non frankly, it's very rough!!

RHODES, grain, of course, but the "DECAY" is far too long - to my taste - making it quite tricky to use her, there in addition to the sample, which in itself is of good quality, an addition note length that is not natural at all! verdict, playable, but not really great.

DX7 ... how to say, this is a DX7, but mixed with a sound rhodes? ? strange, hybrid, and so - for me - hard - to exploit.

The rest of the sounds, not bad, especially the bass sound, quite powerful and incisive.

But let's be honest, a keyboard as NUMA CONCERT is a priori as a controller, not "stand alone" so it is not in my opinion the focus!

MA PLUS GRANDE RESERVE WHEN TO THIS KEYBOARD:

I bought the double pedal FATAR - same brand you will notice - hoping to use it as a sustain pedal more soft pedal - great pianists include the material interest of the 2nd pedal, especially when the quality of the samples is known una corda of Ivory for example -

And it is perfectly possible to configure the input "EXPRESSION" as soft pedal. ? ? ? it has greatly disappointed me, how are they have not thought of? They make a keyboard controller for the software samples and does not implant this feature? ? ? I do not understand decidedly, it is extremely disappointing, especially since it is a double pedal of the same brand!

Admittedly, this is ignorance on my part about input expression on the keyboard, but still, you can not assign it to another use, unless I do not know to do, in any case, NOTHING says in the instructions, quite succinctly, how to do it.

Input Stereo mini jack is good, but the volume knob input requires a screwdriver to turn? ? ? pfuuuu .... Studiologic thank you.

UTILIZATION

And even configuring the touch I have not felt this stuff instinctively makes you say, OK, this is really a good and well-reactive nervous keyboard ... no, no, no ... shame!

The general configuration is not that simple ... go into the menus is certainly simple, but understand the logic and easily configure what you want is not really obvious. I find the Kurzweil better designed for those who know this keyboard, you will understand that this is not a very positive comparison. But I have not spent enough time, so I will not allow to objectively judge this aspect.

The "Midi" is simple and convenient to use, especially since it is easy to manage the volume of VST and at the same time to mix the sounds of the keyboard, for short, this side is very easy and practice! Really designed for two uses, internal sounds and external management of noon!

OVERALL OPINION

My feeling is not very tender towards this keyboard, I feel that it is a failed "beta" constructor, not finished, MUCH TOO EXPENSIVE strongly! And take the consumer testers, except we bought it!

I have not kept ... as you can imagine.

I wanted to change my NORTH piano, it's been 3 years of touring with ... I think I'll keep still long. Knowing the KAWAI VPC1 I think directing me to this keyboard, despite the weight.

I'm not tender, being professional, knowledgeable real good keyboards, and most importantly, enjoying immediate and effective hand use. This keyboard is definitely not finished. Hopefully version 2, because it is the first home Studiologic integrates real improvements. This is in my opinion a big commercial flop, a kind of mess difficult to understand, why not have waited longer to seriously improve these gaps?

On paper, this is ideal, for real, this is a big disappointment.

You just hope that they take into account the views of musicians, and they design a decent version 2 of this name!
