The frequency curve is sufficiently neutral?
it is not. the sound is very flattering bottom. no need to sub, they fall below the 40hz.

The stereo image is good?
I can not find. This said with a headphone that this work easily

The sound is clear and precise across the spectrum?
yes it is accurate. retrais slightly in the midrange. we feel they are cut for its electronic

The dynamics are respected?
Yes. the small flute to make to the thunderous bass, there is no problem.

yes extra speaker. a more neutral pair (type Yam 'or Adams) can be a plus. counters this by highlighting, that these walls are pleasant to use throughout the day. it is not tiring. However, they should be know to lay a proper mix!

Branding and following the advice of a friend.
Use in rehearsal and replay recordings.
Mixer configured with the same brand itself connected instrument and a PC + Cubase 5.

OVERALL OPINION

These are my first monitor speakers and I use them for 9 months.
The accuracy of the sound is very significant if one is confined to use studio / repeat.
I recommend this product if it is used in the sense of its design.

I had a price on a model expo, and they have faithfully served me for several years. They were my only two monitors output table Yamaha 01v.
I honestly do not remember when or at what price I had had.

The sound quality and power are good enough. The weak point is the definition in the bottom of the spectrum: it is both vague and too flattering. This is my Dynaudio BM5 sure which replaced the Alesis are infinitely better in every way, but it does not play in the same league!

OVERALL OPINION

This is a good product to learn to "listen" and blending. But it must be replaced for sure, when ... do not worry, your ears will tell you!

The Alesis M1 Active MkII possdent all CHARACTERISTICS DSurround environment adapted home / small studio or rgy: small size, bass reflex, blind anti-Casing OEM, input are jack / XLR
I just particulirement will appreciate the quality of the finish, and Reduces footprint (less than 9 kg pice, dimensions 381mm x 216mm x 248mm)

The Guided Tour is a relatively neutral and filing Stereo is clear and prcise.

The beach is covered frequency drives enjoyable tense. In particular, the bass reflex works well: the low possdent a great depth while maintaining an acceptable DEFINITIONS.

The definition of these speakers, their quality of analysis, is their strong point. As such, the high precision mdiums parat trs good. The fineness of danalyse Alesis makes a real work of sound in the dtail.
Jai t particulirement sensitive analytical quality of these speakers. Some competitors (Truth. ..) can have a more flattering, but at least I think prcis.

OVERALL OPINION

Targeting the growing segment of clientle home studio, many products on the jostle of crneau Active Monitors at good prices. The Alesis qualitprix view a report that places them clearly among the products most of this INTERESTED CATEGORY.

Obviously for this price range, not everything can be perfect, and larbitrage between the benefits and the default DIFFERENT MODELS is also a matter of subjectivism. Personally, jai t particulirement sensitive their precision, the width of the bandwidth and quality of the image stro.

One thing is certain, cest Quon is on not to be mistaken with the Alesis compltement.
To cost!

The only thing weird is that by observing the curve frequency drives, we see the need to swing 80 dB in the ears for a flat rponse (argh!)
but it's going to shave you 60 trs good too

The low take up much space, it's true (but according to the kind of music we love it might be a default or benefit), but the treble too strong??
No, no, no, the treble is sometimes disappear trends on the contrary, but what people do not know is that by blocking the wind, much of the low "superfluous" and restore the lost Galit to mix.

It is clear that this is not the speaker pro, but for the price one can not do anything wrong.
You cost the Behringer Truth?? The yamaha NSP10?? Well do not you understand what the speaker is "amateur".
The only competing with alesis in the price range are the Fostex PM1 (although more expensive), and then the Genelec or Event PS8 (more expensive)

I would do this choice, except may be for Fostex PM1, which I had made beaver though the era ...
Come usual for this type of purchase, we must listen to yourself!

Impossible to judge because they are my first enclosure monitoring and other forums that only g could test a couple props NS10 / HR824 is not the price mm mm not the quality lol
but for me I like to use it nya nothing shocks me and tapping pourtan are very ready to me and ear height c really exellent value for price /

I deny that the price c attracted me and I find them perfect for my use, d j avai PA speakers before and you can feel the difference
Report exellent quality / price but do remember that with one-inch tape to the beginning of line

I bought this pair of speakers for its power / performance / price ratio.
I use in my home studio (my bedroom = 10m2).
These are my speakers would cost Premire I find them good.

I think they are fairly neutral in terms of the curve frequency drives even if sometimes I miss a little more sub (but is this their LAN?).

It's been nine months that I have and we must take the time to heat them. They still offers a good quality price, but if I had more money I would have bought a less powerful MODEL and better quality (it said it would t quite hard to beat for this 450 price per pair)

I had to make a config for a friend (an association) and DSIR correct speakers (not PC speakers) so I price the entry level of monitoring speakers. use silent non-professional but fate has some work on the (composite) or make a musical sets, and shuffled pr-cost parts. I have associated with a delta audiophile 24/96 and plugged into jack 6.35. C above the price and the mark that prompted my purchase I have to say ...

So I work on and as the alesis KRK6000 do not compare them but so carrment good value.

Most:

- Not CHRE
- Low good condition not to turn up the volume too saturates quickly if a
- Not too acidic, not in the acute agrssif

- Too serious to my taste (his pompous)
- As a result, balance and space to take a shot in Stereo
- Limited power (not good C of C just sound but not fo up the volume too high)
- Blue LED front trs boring *
- Its like my very pregnant HIFI!?!

OVERALL OPINION

I installed with my girlfriend one month ago. I like these speakers from their price. Quality price ratio at C great but I find a little clutter in a mix, not C prcis trs, but hey I compare against my encintes worth four times without amp! So I advise you voullez speakers and not easy to live CHRE. But if you really voullez a real control of the sound, You Save and buy more expensive monitors (Fostex, Mackie and Krk).
the sound of the Alesis is actually in the style of Genelec and less powerful.

What a pity kriskano has not changed his opinion after he made following a discussion on the forum ... ULTRACURVE it was her that caused the problems!

Alesis M1 Active mk2's are far from being excellent monitor speakers ...
However, for the price they were fine, pleasant and slightly better than others on the market.

I was ok at the time I posted my first opinion on them ... but now there are other alternatives to consider in the market.
That said, we do not hear a lot about reliability issues concerning them and they are aesthetically correct to look at and not expensive.

Integrated amp, the sound comes from the PC via a TC Konnect 24D.

Not really. What I like about these speakers is that they "meet" production.
The grave is generous. Care must be taken at the time of the mix.

Not quite, I think that "lack" some information in the upper medium.

OVERALL OPINION

I use them for 4 years. Over time, I know their weaknesses (this serious, high-medium a little behind). I learned to make do.
I love their quality / price ratio, strength (to date, no fault) Now I think buying another pair of speakers, more analytical and precise. I still keep the ALESIS for a second listen I know well.
