- What technical specifications motivated your choice?
In fact, it's more the price and size over the latter. The BX5a, with their little boomer could not make the bass as I wished in comparison.

- For what purpose?
Small home studio in a pice of apartment, so I was not looking either speaker standards, and for a more Fidler my hifi installation (even if it is quality of c is not the same report, must admit)

- What amp / What configuration? ...
They are active, so no amp, and output of a console Behringer (as we try not qualiser on Behringer, a roll)

SOUNDS

- The curve frequency drives is it neutral enough?
I tend to say that the curve is fairly reliable, but watch out for low! I of the rduire because they are too even when Submitted (a is also partly the configuration of the pice, with the winds should rear the absolute moves away from the wall!). On mediums and highs, they are clear, well dcoups prcis and is a rgal.

- Stereo image is good?
Even surprising! Belle spatialization, if only one is well located for the cost!

- The sound is clear and prcis across the spectrum?
Perfect, nothing is rough, all instruments are emerging clearly.

- The dynamic is it respect? ...
Ah has to be dynamic, they are! Watch out for neighbors, both a surprise!

About a month, I have on this PERIOD rodes, and its always good to me parat.

- What is the particular feature you like best and least?
I love the dynamics, rendering, image Stereo (which may lack precision for the more ENTRANS I think, but for me and my ears, I do not make of 98%)
I have less than rduire low, they are a little too got my shoots, but is many things (see above).

- Have you tried many other models before acqurir?
I DynAudio cost of (nice, but the price is too lev for me), the Genelec (pregnant cheating) of the monitors in the same range of power gnral

- How do you report qualitprix?
Excellent! 410 purchased in January 2006 the pair!

Trs likely, if my finances do not allow me to pay me DynAudio worth 8 times the price for the pair

Lol! they are magnified now. just connected (for now) in the ass on the sound card (a juli @).

I did not measure, but it seems to me good.

Bluntly, is awesome.

Power, response, neutrality, but a downside to the vents on the back and the power swith on the back as well.

System 5.1 (placed in this opinion I will speak only of the speakers used in a classic Stereo)

OVERALL OPINION

Use for 6 months.
+ Likes: Stereo image.
Least favorite: the bass response.
Before I used a couple Nad Amp + Speakers Focal. Nothing to see! I lost all my back and still work with these speakers is difficult remastering (it must be said that Nad + Focal silent somewhat flattering and I shut myself used to in 15 years of practice ... With BX8a no flattery, that the "right"!).
on the other hand to the mix of my productions is perfect (I CONTRL your exact on my Systm NadFocal) I russi adapt.
Q / P excellent.
I'm not sure I would do this choice today ... competition out of which new MODELS CHARACTERISTICS paper are allchantes and closer to my use "versatile". (Next time I go to Paris cost the new product with a few CDs in hand REFERENCE + 1 or 2 of my sound).

OVERALL OPINION

I was looking for a small budget (350 max) two good speakers 2-way bi-amplified for my home studio (as the objective to correct mixes) and my choice turned to the M -audio, Brand relatively rcente in this area. I've had in 320 promo.

The sound is excellent for me and close to neutrality even if there is a small bump in the low indeed, as mentioned below (m'enfin has finally allows those who abuse frquences serious their mixes to be more careful !!!). I think this is especially true around 100-200Hz (so few "wow" on the bass and rhythm guitars in palm muting if we do not rectify the legalization).

As against the strong point is that really a "view" from above on the mix, with all its dtails, a pan left / right prcis super ... Truly a pleasure to mix with such speakers. Ms. after several hours of costs, the ears do not tire.

I put 9 / 10 to the bump 100-200Hz.
