This vintage is so laborious for integration into a modern studio, there are two solutions:
- The bender (modification noon circuit bending ... yuck
- Used equipment vintage compliant (TR-X0X. ..) or adapters (midi / synch Doepfer ...)
The CV / gate output is nice to control other synth (or modular), however the glide is not sent to the CV output.

UTILIZATION

Easy to use, can be sequences very quickly if you have a little musical knowledge. No musical knowledge is much more complicated, because if we magnifier on a pitch or a measure, you can not change the last note published, or then again the sentence. The last solution is to make random sequences, nice but boring quickly ...
Even when it is long enough to set a good bass line very complex compared to a modern sequencer ...
To edit the sound that is ultra basic, can not be simpler ...

SOUNDS

It seems that the sound is slightly different on each machine. On mine? This is the classic TB-303:
- Good potato
- Very limited in terms of sound palette,
- Resonance ultra cliche,
- The stereotype of the ACID ...
Nevertheless, TB sounds good as it should. I love the sound it delivers when not abused resonance. I usually torque oscillator with A-110 (controlled by the sequencer TB), and brings out all of a Band-Pass Filter + Disto. With settings a little late you can get the original sounds.

OVERALL OPINION

I used 2/3 months. Personally I would never buy a TB-303 at the current price of the occasion (on my left). For me nothing justifies the price of this bike except the collection. A XOXBOX has a price / quality ratio much higher than that of TB-303 offers much more functionality, higher sound quality (yes, even better) and much wider possibilities.
Yes it is after vintage charm to it ... This is still a machine overwhelmed at all levels. Following is a passionate collector, well filled wallet always find his account.
Nevertheless I like this little TB-303, it serves me in my living room decoration next to a Bontempi organ. I out occasionally for fun, but it always returns to the decor.

If I had the choice, I would buy a XOXBOX without hesitation. 150 € if it is to be honest about, to € 1,000 or more is a total scam ...
