    AMT Slap Bass

Amt Electronics Slap BassPublished on 12/12/10 at 15:00
This is the white pedal put out by the Russian Space Station...or well no a company named AMT or Asia Musick Technology. The knobs are Level, Low, High and Drive.

A friend turned me onto these pedals and set me up with one. New they run about $100

I like it%27s fizzy high end distortion while still having plenty of lows available. That is the problem with most bass distortion pedals is the lack of low end, but not in the Slap bass.

The bypass switch is cheap and sometimes doesn%27t want to switch over. I also got a really horrifying squeal from this pedal once, maybe it had to do with bad power at a club?

OK. Just OK, not good, not terrible. As I said before, the switch could be improved. Through years of playing it still works. I have accrued a few nice paint scrapes.

A very underrated pedal. It nails the gritty breakup of an old Ampeg SVT without having to bring out the kitchen sink or fridge!

it is an overdrive designed specifically for the game slap ... therefore low
    Analog pedal made in russia
serves amp simulator for those that want to register directly on PC

    UTILIZATION

no manual is a pedal with the setting could not be more simple.
    normal adjustment of overdrive

    SOUND QUALITY

used with my warwick bubinga and tri corp hartke / GK ... is exactly the sound I was looking for, although an AC overdrive, it really does not saturate the sound, it brings the dynamics and sound really impressive slap.
finger in the game, it adds punch.
delivery times, forcing Russia, are a bit long but worth it.
sound quite original I think, well defined and with a lot of …

    OVERALL OPINION

I just receive it and spend a good session of slapping her, I love ...
do not buy it if you want a boss to overdrive the bass.
