Technology used: analog I think, but the circuits are enclosed in two small boxes, so hard to say.

The format is standard 115mm deep, 92mm wide, 60mm high. A good little pedal. Cast aluminum sign of strength, it is really caustaude. Level connectivity, nothing more simple: jack in, jack out, 9V power supply.

Made by it, it was not a hangover from hell, you feel the craftsmanship. Cracra yellow paint flakes, giving a hand "vintage".

UTILIZATION

The configuration is simple. 3 knobs: volume, tone and dist. When running, it changes, it does not seek to three sealed. Simple and effective.
There is also a small switch left / right. Its effect is almost zero! It's been a little "WTF?", But ...
About the manual: I do not have, but honestly, is it necessary?

SOUND QUALITY

Here we go into the heart ... this pedal is a monster in the mythological sense of the term. The knob "dist" moves the sound "wah, ca hard!" to "fucking shit." The distortion is very, very powerful, but also super clean: it does not bleed, it is straight and square. I use two basses: a Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass (with DiMarzio) and a Warwick $ $. In both cases it is monstrous, monstrous altogether. I have a shitload of distos, and none of it comes close.
One caveat, however: this pedal, used alone, eat a lot of bass. I highly recommend using a Boss LS-2 to blend with the clear. And then it kills. If you are like me the chance to own a Sovtek Big Muff, try to mix the two distos with the LS-2, it's worth it!

I put "10 - perfect," but it is more than that, really!

OVERALL OPINION

I have this pedal for a month now, I do not regret ab-so-lute-ly not the € 250 I went out to offer me. I'm a big fan of distos bass and yellow thing-that-looks-for-nothing is a real killer. Coupled with an LS2 is the ultimate weapon. I believe the only pedal that can follow is the Big Muff. And yet, not all ...
on the other hand, she buys new about 500 € ... yes, it hurts. But hell, what's good! I put 8 only because of the price.
