I got it at Da Capo Nietap and payed €80 for it.

I like the construction and especially the tone lock knobs they might come in handy when travelling with your pedal. And of course I like the variety of sounds from a subtle Overdrive to very hard Distortion.

The only thing I dislike was that when my batteries were out the first time I tried to remove them but the opening knob was jammed. And another dislike is that I broke it. It was malfunctioning during rehearsel with my ex band, and after a short period of time I got pissed and threw it away. The only thing preventing it from going into orbit around the moon was a wall. That kinda sucked cause aftherwards I bought a BOSS ODB3 and had th…

It can take a heavy beating trust me it did. But the opening knob for removing the batteries only worked one time. But I think thats just a problem with my pedal so the other ones should be fine.

I purchased this from Sam Ash Cleveland for $59.99

This is a very nice sounding pedal, definitely exceeding my expectations. Most distortion effects pedals kill the bass in the sound. This one definitely keeps all of the low end; it even adds some on the higher notes.

    Doesn't come with the AC Adapter . . .

Metal construction, so it's very durable. Knobs have the "hide" feature, so you can push them in and they won't be in the way of anything.

Excellent pedal, even better price. If you want distortion for your bass, buy this one. I rate this a 6.

    guitar center for $49.95

first of it this is an ideal pedal for those looking to get a boost of volume or to get a great driving bass distortion. This pedal has a lot of controls for shaping the distortion sound, it has drive, low, high, and level controls with a switch to make the sound clean, overdriven, or distorted. there is also another switch to control the amount of "attack" the pedal produces this switch is the one I like most of all because if you turn the midrange on your amp up and put the attack switch all the way up you get an almost "tool-Like" tome

my only 2 real complaints is the noise you get when the pedal is left on while you are not playing but a noise gate fixes that,…

this thing is built like a rock it is all metal and i don't see it getting broken any time soon

over all this is a great pedal for rock bassists who want to stand out a little more, I plan to use this live if i was in a band. just use a pick and buy a noise gate to get rid of some of the noise

Well what is a low distortion with 3 modes: clean, overdrive, distortion. A very complete distortion I think.

    UTILIZATION

Very easy to use, it quickly finds the sound you want. The attack button (which increases the harmonics) does not serve much I think: better to cut them.

    SOUND QUALITY

HOULAAAAAAAA KILL WHAT !!!!!! Really there I was amazed. I used one before ODB-3 Boss from home and I was on it (loss of low frequency, no flexibility, no shade) and the PD-7 fills all the defects of my old: The sound is warm, keep well low frequencies and gives a big sound. The additions of harmonics as mentioned above are great but are useless lol: D Finally I found.

    OVERALL OPINION

I use it all the time as much at home with my band (rock). I do not separate for me is the distortion level best quality / price ratio!

Its price makes it an absolute must l, at least in my opinion.
For cons, I do not see the point of the function of harmonic rjut possible with the pedals, so I do not use it.
I do it again without this choice without hsiter problem, given the little competition in the sector.
Its price may raise some supper, but it only proves that your Boss pedals fly by selling a bill of even less efficient and twice as much!

    Pedal Overdrive / Disto

-4 Pots that you can press (great has!)
    -2 3-position switch (clean / overdrive / distortion and attack off/1/2)
    AC-connection possible (fortunately!) Otherwise 9V
    Pedal-heavy metal (super strong)!
    Between -1, 1 output

    UTILIZATION

    Relatively simple setup
is obtained quickly the sound you want
no need for manual (I had forgotten that there were 1!)
you can enter the pots has it's great for the transport or foot slips on it!

    SOUND QUALITY

I Interacting with my 5 string ltd and 2 bodies Hartke has ben sent great!
I play with metal (I saw the bassist with Gojira! class!)

I personally put on overdrive, the tone pots for a little over one-half, a little gain and level, the amp with a lot of medium and a ring of hell!
Personal I like the distortion and not too ataque me useless

    OVERALL OPINION

So it was pedal is great I've had a year without ever do jou I do not believe me separately (unless I find better now but good) the fact that I really can get the sound you want from mild to extreme I command without the essay and not expensive (in Germany!) for the price I think I have both it disconnects a lot with the experience I would do the same choice!

Pedal clean / overdrive / distortion
    input and output jack
a mini knob gain equalizer (bass / treble) and volume knob
if There's a boost of attack 2 position
It works with a 9V battery or adapter (not supplied)
Otherwise the body is very sturdy metal and knob ds retracts the carcass.
    It's solid!

    UTILIZATION

The settings the simple and complete. Mini equalizer and efficient you can get a clean (by-pass) too serious and full of bass, then passed over a foot disto clear and packed with acute (or vice versa).
Otherwise j'vous advised to invest in an adapter c becaufe a real destroyer of battery (and it has less punch on battery).

    SOUND QUALITY

I use this pedal with an amp Hartke aluminum cone and disto stand nickel.
By adjusting the gain much from parcequ'en tried to max the sound is rough.
Otherwise the Od is not bad either but I'm a fan moin, j'trouve k'il distorts the sound of the bass. The clean channel I use not just as the boost of attack 'that I do pa at all, it produces its acute and snapping at each attack of note I find it ugly (!)

    OVERALL OPINION

I use this pedal for 6 months soon and I am fully satisfied.
For almost a ridiculous price is given its low distortion of hell.
I use it with a low microwave passive somewhat limited and it sounds so much already with good micro type active emg's got to be huge.
It is solid and well designed easy to use and very affordable.
J'la advises a fan of all the bass distortion.

PS: I change the bass and I mainte emg active!
Ben mics He plays more than I had dared to think the quality of this pedal! The sound is excellent whether it be in Od (this time ca denatured nothing at all!) Or distortion (and even at Take)! So this was more frankly feel free!

Sound distortion is to build an impeccable guitar saturated, while the overdrive is nice for electro riffs or even an intro or a bridge!

I use it for a year and takes him to every concert, every repeat!
