The sound is pretty ugly, inaccurate, which is not the case with good tube amps (B15, Bassman 100, Ampeg Vintage)

OVERALL OPINION

For me the classic series is a big scam, although there is power, then trace elliot combo compared to the studio we made repeated wow, but the sound has nothing to do with true Ampeg head with a True oldest 8x10 cabinet.
Here is the sound card, the famous warm grain tube is mostly psychological, I find it rather aggressive and ugly, nothing to do with the roundness of an old SVT (with baffle that goes with it of course).
Also impossible, although proposed, connecting the head on a 4x10, finds himself on his narrow, not low, medium even more unpleasant.
The drive is horrible, it almost looks like a bad simulation, and this is not the lamps that were tired because I tried several.

I end by saying that in SVT there is not much good, except maybe the SVT-VR (much more expensive), provided to plug a real 8x10, not the classic.
