I found a brand new unit that had been puchased and retured within a week ,and still worked, for $700 the sound is fabulous. trust ampeg to make a good 2 channel bass amp.

everything 2 channels one with overdrive has an octave option with compression a gate. It also has a +/- 15 db switch and a tuner mute function i has an opional sterio or mono bridge set up 2 sepparate effects loops (one for each channel) i could go on this is a real pro amp Tom Araya of Slayer uses one of these things.

i was lucky and got a cheap one but brand new ones can be very expensive, and you need at least an 810 to use the thing but i still say the sound you get from it is worth it.

it's an Ampeg it should be obvious. (I've seen these things fall of an 810 during practice and still work fine but I wouldn't risk trying it)

a mostly solid state amp with 1 (12AX7) and when you replace it i would advise using a groove tube tube. if you have the money fo rthis buy it.

i bought from a local dealer for an amazingly low $1235.

everything, there is nothing to dislike. this unit is pure sonic explosion. it's like having st. helens in your ear drums. the clarity is unbelievable. even with the crappiest of guitars. the amount of power and sound available at your fingertips is overwhelming. i prefer slap/pop/flamenco styling and this amp comes through whether i'm banging my thumb or raking my nails. whatever you want to do can be done with this amp. if you get the chance to even hear someone play with it, you've been blessed.

nothing. if i had to build a custom amp for my self, i would just pick this one off the shelf.

extremely durable and rugged. i have it mounted in a custom case now but before it was just along for the ride with the rest of my equipment. if it aint broke yet, it aint going to.

this will be the only equipment i ever buy for performing. for recording, i'll buy another one.
