USE

The rglages are easy learn, but provided very accurate, can be searched, and quickly made a good sound, boost the bass and the treble are very effective

SONORITS

It is very versatile and has a big potato, good dynamic and very powerful

NOTICE GLOBAL

This is a very good amp, very robust and allows out quite sonorits diffrentes should be any style of music I think.

USE

It couldn't be easier to dial in.
You can find your sound very easily.

SOUND

It's not the best for slap (it lacks a 4x10).
For blues / rock / metal / reggae, etc finger / pick... it's simply perfect

OVERALL OPINION

I've had it for...24 years! Ouch, time flies.
It has aged without a single cough, I have even used it to amplify an electric double bass, it's awesome.


In short, a good old FENDER (solid-state, but a good amp all the same), it sounds deep (awesome fullness!) round and warm with my Jazzbass Fender (what a sound

300-watt amp made in USA (it might seem stupid, but in the times we're living, I think it's interesting to point out). One good big 15" speaker, a control for the highs, one for the mids, one for the mid frequency, one for the bass and that's it, start making some music!
It features two inputs, a passive and an active one, and you can plug in you effects loops directly to it, which can be interesting if you have an EQ or a preamp.


USE

It' very easy to use, since it only has 4 controls plus a volume knob.
It produces good lows and, I have never been disappointed playing it with my JazzBass. It's obviously not an all-tube ampeg, granted, but being a solid-state amp, it has nothing to envy the new generation for.
And it's rugged!


SOUND

I use it with a Jazz Bass standard and, to be honest, it delivers in the low end. It doesn't have the most precise sound, it can be a bit muddled if you crank the volume up, but it responds very well when finger or pick playing, and even with slap (even if I don't master this technique). I play mostly rock!


OVERALL OPINION

It's been almost 10 years since I've been using it, I have used it for rehearsals and even some gigs in small venues or bars and it has never failed me. Good manufacturing quality, I think I could play ten more years without the sound being affected at all.
So, if you are used to playing hybrid amps of the likes of Hartke and Ashdown, we are not talking about the same category, but it's certainly more than enough for rehearsals and to play small venues!
It shouldn't be too expensive secondhand nowadays. So if you are looking for a powerful and quality amp, it's worth giving it a try!

Very very very simple configuration.

I would do this choice. This amp is a good investment and couvient ideal for small to medium rooms: concerts, rehearsal.

UTILIZATION

Configuration very simple, a lot of sounds available thank you to two trs Boost efficiency especially Grave! The Medium is the paramtrage trs end, passing a little time we get to get really very fine nuances.

The compressor? Mine is not working or rather it serves as protection for pregnant, bustling rduire for a little power when it really buggers too.

I would put 9 because the compressor but otherwise nothing to say, simply and efficiently.

SOUNDS

Sounds very numerous, but for simple rglages. Submitted trs serious, but may be lacking a bit of precision.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 years, I only have the head as I plug in a subwoofer peavey HP Eminence team of 2 * 15 inches. The sound is monstrous (can be a bit too) By pushing the amp a bit I fear for my windows, this amp ton power, absolutely phnomnale, my poor neighbors, I pity them!

I read somewhere on the Net is the story of a BXR300 who had spent several days under water after a flood. Aprsschage he was back in service!

UTILIZATION

Simple yes, everything you need and nothing superfluous. (Except the compressor without rglage, the only to save the HP ...)
For good sound, yes. I do not have an exprience of 50 amps derrire me (the second a small APRS Trace Eliott 60W), but I soon had something that sounded.
However, do not use hsiter rglages quite extreme and use the two filters treble and bass. In fact, leaving any "flat", there was not much terrible at first.
The fault in HP mid-range ... not the height of the head for me.
Indeed, when I use the head with only one or two 4x10 cabinets Ampeg home, makes a much better sound!

Having a little trouble with rglages extreme, I finally they add a legalization of Boss pedals GEB7. So I go directly between the "power amp in", and sounds ...
