Bought it at Guitar Center in Concord, CA for $350, bargained to about $300. i had a 40 watt amp and needed at least 100.

Same price as say Crate, but 4 times as good. the sound is awesome, and it doesn't wig out or distort until maybe 90 watts, which is very impressive. GK is top of the line. the amp is smaller than most, so its much easier to carry. 12" speaker, but don't be fooled...it shakes. plus it's got distortion switch, and good tone control.

12" speaker is a little small, but it pumps out great sound. size don't matter.

pretty good. it tilts back for better sound projection. caged front is tight, but its fragile

i'm hot, the amp is hot, trust me, go buy one

    Gallien-Krueger Backline 112

I purchased this unit from Guitar Center in Atlanta, GA. I paid just under $300. I purchased it after a recomendation from the sales rep Richard Gibson (so far everything he reccomends is all he says it is). It it the best sounding bass combo I have found from Ampeg to Peavey.

It is light weight and has a small foot print. I like the contour feature which drops the mid and boost the high & Lows. It delivers a supreme tone for only having a 12" speaker. The rockback design allowes me to use it as a monitor when playing bigger venue, just use the line out to the house PA.

I wish it has a direct line out and came with a foot switch to switch between the drive and clean channel.

    Quality and construction are excellent

I plan to purchase another G-K soon.

(This content has been automatically translated from French)
I'll be brief because much has been said.
A true 100watts (8 ohms) on HP internal or external (but not the 2 together).
Very little noise (breath) at rest and in motion.
    No vibration, making serious.
What is needed as inputs / outputs.
    Position "foot bath" as possible.
Very good precision settings, simplicity, efficiency.

    UTILIZATION

The manual is in English, too bad, but you can get help
    easy to understand.
The sound is very good very quickly, adjusting bass amp and quickly.

    SOUNDS

The sound depends a lot on the bass that is used, it may be round
    as slamming.

The roundness is not the same as an Ampeg for example, but very
Hon, relative to its size, of course, compare this
that is comparable is true for anything.

    OVERALL OPINION

In my opinion the best quality / power / size / weight / price point (289 Euros).
    (I tried a Berhinger BXL1800 Ultrabass of supposedly 160Watt (211 Euros)
-> Breath ....... and not fishing, mushy, and heavy to carry! )

For its category, its size and price, this amp is remarkable
    I strongly recommend it.
