I put these pickups in my Cort RB5 active electronics with 3-band Glockenklang and the result is amazing, I wired microphones with switch parallel / single coil / series. These microphones are recommended for wiring in series, a parallel model is also available with more turns on the copper coils. With all the switches I found the bass that I love: jazz bass, precision, musicman, all sounds are there with a beautiful definition, I used to supplement electronic frequency differences due to the different configs.
I put these pickups because I did not want to turn to the big brands same for electronics.
My favorite setting is the neck pickup in parallel and bridge pickup in series, equal flat.
What I like about these mics is their accuracy, so he better have a low quality and properly adjusted, and a good feel too, I already had microphones bartolini, delano, fender, emg. Without a doubt I prefer nordstrand for their extreme versatility.
These microphones are expensive and you have to order in the USA, with the customs fees it hurts the wallet. But they are still sound and microphones with 3-band electronic switches, the possibilities are endless.
