UTILIZATION

Operation is very simple but it is not programmable, we must remember all rglages if one changes the sound.

SOUND QUALITY

For my part, I'm a fan! Although we can say is the numrique, the sound is clean trs.
The reverbs have a quality that far exceeds any multi-effects that I could play, even the high end. It is the discrete plate reverb to the great stadium!
In contrast to the delay, I already have tried other models and the competition is this good dfend ct l. Most is that it makes two effects pedals in one and the price is good.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 3 years, I bought ocaz and I do not regret always. I can not do without!

The Boss RV-3 is an digital reverb and delay pedal that has stereo 1/4 inch outputs and a single 1/4 inch input. It is powered by either a nine volt battery or a nine volt power supply. It is not rackable as it is a stomp box.

UTILIZATION

The configuration of the Boss RV-3 is pretty easy to follow, although there are a good amount of different options for controlling your tone on this pedal. From left to right, it has knobs for balance, tone, reverb time, and a mode knob that allows you to choose between 11 different types of delays and reverbs. I don't have the manual for the Boss RV-3, but it is easy to use and you don't need it.

SOUND QUALITY

The sound quality of the Boss RV-3 is pretty awesome and the sounds you can get pretty versatile as well. It has three different types of delays, four different types of delay and reverb combos, and three more types of different reverbs. There are enough parameters and modes on the RV-3 to allow for a vast amount of different possible tones and while I've only used this pedal with guitar, it is capable of being used with any electronic instrument because of this versatility. Overall, an impressive collection of reverb and delay sounds.

OVERALL OPINION

I've been using the Boss RV-3 for about five years and to me it is a versatile pedal that has an overall great bank of different delay and reverb tones available. While they no longer make these, you can find a lot of them on eBay for pretty reasonable prices. While this doesn't have the pristine sound quality that its follower the RV-5 has, it has a lot more types of sounds and is a great sounding pedal in its own right. If you are in the market for a reverb or delay pedal or both, the Boss RV-3 is a great option that won't break the bank and will last for a long time.
