Rogue Amoeba updates Audio Hijack to v3

Rogue Amoeba’s Audio Hijack multifunction audio recording software for Mac OS X has been updated to v3.

After more than 10 years on the market, Audio Hijack has been completely revamped in this version 3. Here are the main changes:

• New GUI
• Session templates to quickly access the most common tasks
• Multiple recorder support in a single session to record, for example, a same source in two different formats or various sources in sync
• Cleaning tools: Denoise, Declick and Dehum powered by iZotope
• Ducking, time shifter and volume effects
• Simplified audio effects
• New presets to store the settings of almost all Blocks and recall them in another session
• Improved instant capture of audio software and system
• FLAC and AAC (HE-AAC) formats recording support
• Full screen mode
• Supports 64-bit AU Cocoa plug-ins
• Discontinued support of VST, LADSPA, Carbon and 32-bit effect support
• Monitoring control for output device Block volumes
• Various improvements and fixes
