88 keys, touch heavy! Lightweight 15 kg! (Slightly less than the 300SX)

Many sounds (+ 300), a beautiful piano (superior large), effects, features master keyboard, the keyboard 3 HPS (^^), pace accompanying mp3 audio file playback via a USB key (n 'matter which one) ..

all the connections that have (2 output jacks, phones, 2 x pedal, midi out and in, USB out, USB in) lack an XLR output and a midi-through ca c chze but the big brother.

UTILIZATION

So touching! Excellent quality / price ratio. Marked improvement with the 300SX. Heavy but not too much bounce the key. Try because it's pretty personal but I am conquered, you can really play in nuance and we feel the keys!

The interface is very simple, there is a clear instruction that is required for advanced features (and there are plenty). But the opening is happening Desj a good hour to see all sounds very easily.

The selection of the patch is easy, plus the screen is not only useful, but the writing is pretty blznche! D Lots of small LEDs that give a nice side scene: D

SOUNDS

As for sounds, I wanted above all a good piano sound, even if I have good VST plugins is to play without a PC.

On this side the Grand Superior (inherited from the RD 700SX I think) is awesome! Good bass and good treble mostly I find him a good momentum (a good piano, pianissimo can be too strong).

For other sounds, electric pianos are quite BOFs (Native electric instrument piano rock) there are good organ, good pads and violins! what fun! a more alto sax that I find fun!

At least for the piano, thanks to the touch, and the quality of the keyboard, it was a game very expressive!

Also a big plus, I thought it was gadget but the integrated audio player c cool to make statement, or even find pieces work.
The principle is simple, a USB key (normal), you put the mp3 file) from your PC, then you put the key on the keyboard and pressing song, it scans and you can read music, you can stop continue, navigate, easy (very reactive). you can even accelerate and slow down the tempo of the audio file (keeping the pitch). I find it short more need to make back and forth with my pc for a statement. In addition we have a small utiliaire to cut the song and map parts of the keys (from b1 to b0)!

OVERALL OPINION

It's been almost a year since I m buying a good digital piano! I have tried many and I chose the RD-700SX, but with the announcement of the RD-300GX, who inherits a lot, at a great price (especially in Grenoble Pianotech I highly recommend: D). .. so I watched the stock arrive in stores for testing.

And soon I chose! An excellent keyboard very close again in the RD-700SX! If you have trouble finding it in stock to test the keyboard is very similar to the Roland FP-4.

In short, excellent touch (j have also tested the 700GX with beautiful ivory feel sensation, but I find many snaps), a great piano sound (the Grand Superior), a lot of sounds to touch everything! What design their own piano sound and other (a lot of parameters, n I have not toured yet), features master keyboard, HPS in 3 areas, features music player! Very portable, "very light" and very good price.

UTILIZATION

The touch keyboard is it enjoyable? Should you use?
I tried it without connecting the power supply, just to the sensations at your fingertips:
c'tait surprising but comfortable.
Once the power on in a minute, I got adapted. (Time to find the right volume)

SOUNDS

- The sounds they agree your style of music? , Are they ralistes?

The sound of the piano is enjoyable without being transcendent. (With headphones, like my good string-fi) but like all numriques pianos, the sound has nothing to see (hear), with a real piano (right or concert). Indeed, the set is still too tight, too cold, too ascptis. No piano does not sound like a rel, except when it has just been agreed (and again ...). I use the keyboard mostly as RD300GX matre to read samples pro ...
ngatif point: All other sounds are plutt BOFs, immitation distant instruments rels. rang plutt "cheap" but it's not that I chose to have this keyboard.

OVERALL OPINION

I use the keyboard or as RD300Gx matre in home studio, (trs touch is enjoyable, it gives Entire satisfaction.) Or as scne piano to accompany a choir, and sound ( sounds) are effective and sufficient. The player wav or mp3 on USB key allows me to dclencher ambient sounds or humor, to enrich my dishes, it INTERESTED trs.
ngatif point: for use in home studio, the sounds are not gniaux.
large positive, the device is lightweight, can be transported without an appointment at an APRS kin. dtail important, the shell is hollow on both ct of the machine, you can catch it easily map the arm.
I had several devices before the-l (P80, S90 ES, CVP107) and I do not regret my choice at all. I am glad trs.
