The CSIX is a synth using AWM2 out in the mid-90s, electronic music oriented. It has roughly 61 keys, some buttons on the front, the standard connectivity, midi, headphones, stereo output, pedals and reliement to the computer (To host) ...
The polyphony is 32 voices, the multitimbrality 16.
There are hundreds of sounds at the origin (close to 900) and 21 drum kits. Common fx (reverbs, delays and variations) + an arpeggiator.

UTILIZATION

If I remember correctly, the use is based on a system of layers (2 max) that can overlap. Each can be modified before and all headed in the effects section. The manual supplied is relatively clear and it is quite easy to find the sound you want and create a nice little set.
Especially the buttons for a minimum edition are on the front panel (buttons cutoff, resonance, attack, release and ASSIGN1 and Assign2). It was very pleasant to edit your own sounds: it takes two layers, we put a little resonance, cutoff envelopes are managed, although his time on dose and reverb and hop it sounds.

SOUNDS

As part of my group at the time, the sounds were quite convincing oriented electro, new wave, dance and techno. Some more traditional sounds (piano, strings) are outdated today, but in my humble level was very acceptable at the time.

Wide range of quality sounds correct and Varis, paramtres edition of fairly comprehensive and direct some of CASC these parameters are pushed me CRITERIA acqurir this keypad.

The ratio quality / price is really correct, as often with Yamaha.

UTILIZATION

Even if this keyboard is meant intuitive, the publishing patches and Access in paramtres is through menus and submenus. Nanmoins, the ACCS is the notch thanks ais rtro-clear graphics, and Multi-Table slecteur faade in the keyboard. As is the concept of CS-1x, most functions are Submitted ditions.

The manual, the blue book (Tutorial Designed for Fast Fashion CS1x sound) and the extensive documentation available on the net can be drawn and rapidemet full advantage of this machine.

SOUNDS

The factory sounds and samples are correct quality, but a little older. Fortunately, the edition features relatively compltes allies crativit the user took a certain guarantee of the machine.

Edition of the buttons are INTERESTED in real time (attack, cut-off, etc..), But not always effective.

OVERALL OPINION

If one is looking for a keyboard to the sound of INTERESTED edition, with a relatively small budget lev this keyboard will bring pleasure and satisfaction the user.

This keyboard has a soft touch cheap (arranger type keyboard psr cheap)
Controllers are much more sturdy and disposs there appear
connections are correct that fragile for the lovers of branch 40 times a day unplugged
sounds are easily editable I took the correct part price use it only on a single performance as a polyphonic monotimbrale (I hate standards and xg gm gm2)

I bought this synth in my complment EPS16 + in 96 (a gift I had a cable yeah) say some sounds for synthetic pseudo analogue did not then appropriate to buy the of analog

UTILIZATION

Everything is clear nickel easy take over a machine intuitive

edition on the panel of the synth and the knobs you need to bring expression to the low-end machine (or say entry level) concurrent roland xp10 of the time.

SOUNDS

Electro sounds right away viruses or moog bring a nice touch but effective personality evident

Leads well programmed bass nice even if they lack punch (about not fast enough) mutieffet a very effective (the few parameters are enough to embellish the sound) and ground well apptissantes

not the machine of the century but a good compromise between available capacity and quality sound fair price multisamples missing a few here and there to give it more than 6 (ide what this module gm of a machine wishing pseudo analog .. ...............)

I do not like very percu type thing too typical low-end and forget about the gm voluntarily xg etc. ...........

OVERALL OPINION

I've had 96 and toured the machine a time forgotten in a box in my too frequent dmnagements
I do not like the failure to provide see schedule 2 3 performance, the standard xg gm etc ...
the effects are nice sounds are correct so-called synthesis and falls in a mix

complment a machine with a neutrality that suits me perfectly

I like some color tones and light weight

complment a machine or beginner but not more than 200 Roros (maximum with the SU10 prvu as an option)

Very complete little synth, pitch, modulation, midi in, out and through etc.

UTILIZATION

It is really very very simple utiliser.pas sub menu or access complication at some option.tout is on the facade of appreil direct access.
the manual can give answer to some questions that may remain on hold

SOUNDS

We can say what you want, it's still a very oriental synth music electro.pas ill effects for a synth like that, by grinding sound well, few ca send it right

I think this keyboard is great for a beginner who starts in the home studio.comme all the effects this has directly handled using the knobs, it allows to discover what an LFO, an arpeggiator and other effects that can parraitre complicated for someone who has no idea.
for 200 euro, I think it is a good investment

UTILIZATION

I've had a week ... I'm really happy for the price.
It is true that the sheets are nice, they sound a bit digital, but some make me think of Jean-Michel Jarre ...
But hey, it's still anyway using a synthesizer.

SOUNDS

The sounds are fun, frankly it sounds better than my Eg101.
The keyboard is not bad for the price.

OVERALL OPINION

A drum machine built would be a big plus.

The YAMAHA CS1x is a small synth music lctronique East.
It possde not too bad a keyboard of 61 keys, is the level synthse AWM2 for controllers there are six in the facade of which some two assignable parameter. Connectivity is basic one finds:

Midi In, Out, Through
-1 Headphone
-1 Stereo output
-1 Connector "to host" (ncssite sptial a cable used to connect the synth directly to a computer.)
-1 Power connector.
-2 Connectors for pedals (assignable sustain and if I remember correctly.)


a 32-voice polyphony
some effects (asser decent for the price)
few drum kits.

UTILIZATION

Operation is simple, enjoyable and Asser, the Canon may seem tiny, but it performs its functions trs, for against, the manual seems to me even when essential for a good grip of the machine (if you know the great synths, it may not be ncssaire).

On the right side of the synth slecteur there is a rotary, which allows a menu slctioner DSIR then after we apuis the buttons on the bottom that runs in + / - therefore:

= -1 ▼

This is a relatively simple machine to use.
I ENTSO however, at least one assignable button suplmentaire.

SOUNDS

Said that the sounds are directed not just techno, but yes, there are pads, leads, basses, guitars, organs .... ralistes not really, but it is not his goal.

The effects are not great, but good for the price of this synth is normal. They can be even when utiliss.

OVERALL OPINION

They made me a dmonstration another yamaha synth (I know what isp) good verdict is simple the CS1x is not a toy! it's a real synth is nothing wrong about that.
The shell may seem a bit fragile but its going.

I buy mine from okkaz (thank you af) and this is my first synth. It is nice for beginners trs, it is intuitive asser even when there are pots, in short there is everything necessary for beginners.
For the price of this synth? dpend ca be seen in a lot of factors I would say no more than 250 for a state home impeccable impeccable
I would do it gladly choice if I had to buy one (or can be a CS2x.)
