It faiaait more than 10 years I played vinyls and I wanted to mix other things without ruining myself so I finally made the purchase of this pack to see, and begin playing with timecode without blow my wallet.

This is very resource intensive because at the beginning I did turned seamlessly with a computer barely 512mb of ram (it goes without saying that I have limited graphic resources, remove the bpm counter and other useless stuff)!

GETTING STARTED

Simple setup even for me who am not very good with computers ... No compatibility issues encountered to date.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

I now use a small Sony Vaio.

The software works perfectly and is very stable even with a small configuration as I mentioned above. It really is not greedy.

Then, to avoid re-installing the software several times (as stated by another user), you just think to connect the sound card before starting the program and close the software completely before removing.

OVERALL OPINION

I use the pack mk2 for almost 2 years and am always satisfied. The grip was immediate and I was pleasantly surprised by the report / quality / price. The feel is very realistic, the latency is insignificant, the software is stable and it works flawless.
The sound card is quite good and well above his little sister (U-Mix 44). I made a few evenings and I've never met a particular problem. The passage on vinyl is very easy via a function "bypass" to mix the vinyl and mp3 without special handling and effects are present in fairly nice easy to use.
All the friends who came tried adopted (even more resistant to timecode) because for the price, it's really fun.

What I like least: the convertos that are a little lighter. Well mastered on vinyl (as in D & B track with a face by 45t), the loss of quality is necessarily feels a bit during the convertion to digital format.

With the experience I would do this choice without hesitation. For this budget, I think this is a very good material to pass on timecode without spending a fortune.

Plus: a non-existent latency on my bike, being able to control my MP2 as vinyl ...
The least: the relative instability of the software (sometimes, he acknowledges bad decks, but once it's good, it's always good, so no worries General), the absence of real effects in the software

This is the final scratch-killer, but I have not tried before the other interface. I started on a HDJC first generation, I went to the BCD 2000 (but has not stopped messed up). After the BCD, I wanted something no computer that can walk without a PC: so I invested in turntables and a mixer. But being a follower of free music, I could not mix my usual pieces, so I looked for a solution, and that price is really a good surprise.

Well, it's worth. For € 400 a pack, and if Mixvibes would offer a pro version of the software (should get a little over 160 euros for motivation), I made the effort.

Yes, although I confess a lack of points of comparison (was told that the price is still important when you're not pro).

Plus: A latency innexistant, rare for the ASIO, but a dual core with 2GB is turned all alone) What makes the system very reaction
The least: The software, personally I prefer to VDJ MixVibes DVS for now, much work must be made at the level of soft.

- Have you tried many other models before buying it?

Yes, I had the opportunity to test different sound card and VTC, and I can say that mixvibes is doing really among the best. The timecode vinyls are really work, the sound is inaudible TC you plus they have no class and orange translucent vinyl eh ^ ^.

- How would you rate the quality / price?
At the sound card quality / price ratio is nikel by MixVibes against pus would provide a slightly more developed version of its software, the version is still quite basic with no real add on as possible. But if I tested the card in nightclub she turned 8 hours without any worries.

Yes, certaiement for the sound card, for against the soft I will look more towards the VDJ.

The quality of sound with the sound card. An incredible deep bass!

No, actually the other Systmes like this are too expensive.

Excellent! A real touch vynil is the price: that happiness!

Definitely.

What I like most:

The quality of their housing
The complete package rather
The Forum Site mixvibes
Systm excellent latency
Trs interface easy to use!

What I like least:

The drivers provided trs not stable (have to put the drivers for older cards)
Config time jumps (no trs cool when we go 15 minutes to reconfigure everything for a night). However this does not happen running Fortunately!

The instability in Vista for my part (a view on other pc)

Conclusion:

A super economic Systm when you see the price of serato!

However I recommend to connoisseurs Systm computer because the config is not necessarily empty; Meanwhile stable of drivers from mixvibes!

Touch is also the precision is excellent.

The fairly comprehensive package will be used in all circumstances through adapters.

I really appreciate the design of the interface and ease of setup / use.
- Have you tried many other models before buying it?
No. on the other hand I had the opportunity to test Serato Scratch Live and I think Mixvibes has nothing to envy. It is even more complete!

Excellent. The pack includes a sound card, 2 LPs, a set of cables and software for only 218 euros Thomann!

Certainly. I never go back to Serato me, though I'm rich ...

I want to add about a Be-called latency problem in a notice a little lower than the latency is not from the sound card, but of poor software configuration. It's a question of power and optimization. In fact no one else has mentioned this "problem".

Edit 2010: A few small crashes, but other than that it is enough road ben.
