    Must have for DJ's

    Pioneer HDJ-2000Published on 10/18/12 at 22:23
The Pioneer Dj HDJ 2000 are a pair of DJ headphones with a closed back. You can fold them up for easy storage and travel use, they also have a swivel to them (mainly for DJ’s). The sound with the HDJ 2000 are very clean and they block out external noise very good. I have had a chance to use these on multiple occasions and every time I use them I think about purchasing them. If you are a DJ then these are the best ones for the price that are on the market. They are 350 USD and worth every penny!

The Pioneer DJ HDJ 2000’s are very rugged and can take some drops, spills, and anything else you can imagine. They are built tough and built to be taken from place to place. They are very comfort…

The Pioneer DJ HDJ 2000’s are very rugged and can take some drops, spills, and anything else you can imagine. They are built tough and built to be taken from place to place. They are very comfortable on your head when worn regular and even in swivel mode (DJ style) they can be very comfortable as well. I have wore these for over 2 hours one time and when I took them off I could barely tell that I even had them on my head.

The Frequency Range is 5Hz-30kHz with a sound level of 107dB. They come with a carrying case/soft pouch and a ¼ plus adapter. The cord that comes with it doesn’t seem to be very long though, maybe only 3 or 4 feet long. It would be nice if it was a little longer for studio use (if you wanted to use it for something other than DJ gigs).

The Pioneer DJ HDJ 2000 have a big and warm sound, with great balance between the low and high tones. The low end still has that punch that I like without it being too sloppy and the high end tones are really clean and crisp. The mids are ok, nothing to really be too excited about though. But when you hear it all together it sounds very clean, I suggest all DJ’s go out and get a pair of these, if the chord was longer I would recommend all studio engineers to also have a pair.

    6 Months
    good sound mix for dj
    compact - weighs
problem on hp of an ear made by drying quickly sav
The origins of spare parts (round ear - cable jack) are expensive
I have a friend who replaced the damaged cable quickly (by akg I think)
I have several others that use it regularly with no points.
It depends if you're careful or not.
I have a hd 25 has a good level of isolation when the sound is very sav the parts are more easily (see customizable) lightweight, compact performance.
But I appreciate the pioneer qd same ...

    I hdj2000 for a week.
what I like most is its looks, comfort, mini xlr to separate the cord (useful for transport) and especially the sound.
what I like least: the price.
I have several headphones: SONY MDR-V500, Technics RP-DJ1200, Sennheiser HD25 and others not comparable ...
The HDJ2000 is a bit expensive but it just came out.
I would do without hesitation that choice because I think we will go a long way together.

I've had a little over two weeks and I am fully satisfied despite the price a bit exorbitant.

    - How long have you use it? Just over two weeks

    - What is the particular feature you like best and least? The comfort I have found on any other headphone. The remaining point ngatif the price.

    - Have you tried many other models before acqurir? Not bad: Sony MDR-V700, Pioneer HDJ-1000, Sennheiser HD-25, Technics RP-DH 1200, Monster Beats and others that are not worth the trouble to be deficits.

    - How do you report qualitprix? Same way when a few dollars less would not t too. Even when it is 100 euros more expensive than the HDJ-1000.

    - With the exprience, you do again this choice? Yes…

    - With the exprience, you do again this choice? Yes, it is my humble opinion one of the best headphones at the time. Much stronger thanks mtal the frame (that breaks even when much more slowly than plastic), also more comfortable, the sound is at Pioneer is no longer complain and super insulation.

In conclusion, trs good headphone for any uses both portable player or monitoring.

How long have you use it?

    2 months

What is the particular feature you like best and least?

The +: usability, design, finish, weight and compact trslger, trs comfortable, the clarity of sound.
the -: can be too sharp and medium from the bass.

Have you tried many other models before acqurir?

Yes: technics, sony, sennheiser, pioneer, stanton.

    How do you report qualitprix?

With the current price increase of 40% Pioneer, I find the headphones a bit expensive.
Without this increase, these headphones worth the price as a quality unparalleled today.

Exprience with, you will do again this choice?

Yes for positive points mentioned above.
Not to the point ngatif mentio…

I've had the HDJ2000 one week.

Pros: Mainly the sound but also the looks, the usability and the mini-XLR for the audio cable.

    Con: Price.

I already owned several headphones: Sony MDR-V500, Technics RP-DJ1200, Sennheiser HD25 and other cheaper products...

The HDJ2000 are a bit too expensive but they are a brand new.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. I do believe that I will use them a long time.
