I have a Sennheiser HD 205 since December 25, 2012.
This act makes my Christmas gift and I do not know the exact price (the price informed and based on approximations indicated by a relative of the buyer who probably deliberately over-estimated price)

Prior to the acquisition of these headphones, I mainly tried headsets Logitech from Philips and the second having me extremely disappointed with the fragility of its products of this type.

Most?

* A clear sound
* Powerful Sound
* The presence of an adapter jack to jack 3.5mn 6mn

The least?

* A sound insulation virtually non-existent
* Comfort also absent (mainly in the form of equipment)

If the value is there, we chose to compromise on sound quality for a better comfort for use on online games.

Although I have not made a choice, if I had to I would not choose this product because it is not suitable to use as I did.

with the budget I had so now I will go on a Sennheiser HD-25

I use this headset for almost 4 years to mix my tracks, create sounds and music of all kinds. Quite frankly, there's more (there's always better if you put the price ... I think of Bose headphones or AKG for example ...) but at that price (€ 35 today, I had paid 70) it is really fun! I make electro and I must say that my mixes are far from déguelasses with, and the bass is really not bad (it must be said that the bandwidth is wide 14Hz-21000Hz) and I rediscovered some music with this headset even in old pieces (type Dire Straits!)!

Again, there are better but when I see some negative comments about it, I do not understand ...

Basses are colored just right, and treble well rendered even though it lacks a little sharpness to some, and for the midrange can be a little weak but without consequences for the work I do.

I use it in pseudo headphone monitoring (because it is not a monitoring headphones far from it), on a Walkman and listen to a multimedia PC.
If I had to make that choice, I will take the same, but if I have much more clearly I will budget for a higher range.

However, the current use does not give me want to change because I am fully satisfied for almost 4 years ... maybe I just want to purchase a monitoring headphones worthy of the name, but if n east to the computer music, why change when you are satisfied! I recommend it for me for people with low budget and looking for a "good headphone".

Ambient noise is well mitigated, the blow to mixing it passes.

Just a little more comfortable foam would be appropriate for use with computer music long hours on the ears if not for the rest is spot on!

I bought this headphone two weeks ago for several applications: listening, and monitoring including DJ. In reading the reviews, I was surprised that they were so mixed.

For my part, for 50 € (you can find it cheaper on the internet) I think it's a good headphone. The overall sound is clear and the answer still quite linear (slight bump to 1500Hz there ...), short listening is pleasant. The bass are not amplified in an exaggerated way (this is the case with many headphones, which can "fool" the ears in some cases, completely crush the spectrum in others). In short, its level for 50 €, that's fine.

Then for comfort, yes, it is a little early. on the other hand, after a few days, the headphone was "relaxed" and it is much less: it is so good. The pads are harder than on other headphones, but we do not feel like a marshmallow on the ears ... especially it is very light.

I listened to a lot of other models in this range and in a range somewhat higher (up to 150 €): frankly, the HD 205 does not have to turn pale at slightly more expensive models.

In short, what I love most: weight, qualié overall sound, the adapter 3.5 -> 6.35 screw.
What I like least: the cable length (this is totally subjective, I prefer to 1.5m), the lack of "space" sound that it is better to have to listen to the daily (and again, it depends on the music, sometimes it's really amazing!)

For 50 €, I repeat, that's fine, and at that price I remake that choice without hesitation.

For a larger budget, it's a different story of course!

+ The sound is very well throughout the rpart frquences (no abusive as low on many headphones unfortunately ...).
+ The right atrium rotates, which is sufficient and allows me to introduce me to the mix.

- One complaint that headphone: The size of the ear (too small) and it must be said, he shakes a lot ... For my part, a cost of one hour starts becoming dsagrable ...

-Good headphones for this price! (33 uros in 2007). Sounds pretty linear: the frquences are quite homognes and "relatively" prcises! (Tjs for the price of course), still allows to get an ide enough Fidler of what is entend.Bref, 33 serious uros.
a small tip for those who sorrel for a real headphone: the DT-990 Pro Beyerdynamic! A delight ... Although a bit expensive (about 150 ... ouch!) But the real her! (5 frquences 35 Hz which tell ....).
Well-if not the Sennheiser HD 205 is probably one of the + serious in this range (eg avoid: the Sony MDR-V300 PForm sound too ... just OK for the MP3).
-I put 8 / 10 for two reasons: It's not upscale, but it is not a xagrer trs qualitprix good value (in this price gnral Figure that one has + techno 128Kbps) but a large default: he trs rapidemment ears hurt! Foam & srr too too hard to compensate .... Have !!!!.( the wire is long enough but seems to me all the same as a little late to be strong ... do not walk on my humble opinion)
I do not regret my purchase so far: it's a good little trs (budget!) headphone.

These are your standard headphones and will work with any system. I personally use them at a desktop computer, but have used them many times with my iPod and laptop computer. The headphones are pretty effective and have a decent range of frequencys in them. The major gripe I have with them would be when outside the low end of the headphones is drowned out majorly by any other noise. I use these headphones to mix songs as well as creating and they have done a great job thus far. If you are looking for some cheap but quality headphones these are definately great. For listening to music my preferred genre is Hip hop. When in a quiet environment the low end of these headphones is very well done. Top and mid ranges have great clarity. The bottom end is defined but may seem a bit heavy depending on where you are. A minor annoyance is the head band. These headphones were designed to sit on your ears and stay tight for obvious reasons but in my opinion they are maybe a bit too tight. The headband is adjustable easily enough though. They may take a small while to get used to but once you have adjusted to them you should find them comfortable. I have tested them for long periods of time and they have never tired out my ears or physically hurt. Get these if you need some cheap headphones with quality.

As for my overall opinion, I'm a little mixed:
* For the piano, the sound is beautiful!! J adore! Shame that has become a bit uncomfortable at the end of a time! But the sound quality is beautiful!
* For my electric guitar, I'm a little more mixed. Prsence mdiums too large. And the headphone too quickly saturates, c is a shame.
But good for the price, was worth it!
