    A Slaughter

(This content has been automatically translated from French)
It is an extremely powerful MIDI controller. It consists of a 4x4 square pads, 8 sliders plus a "long slider" two rotaries, three buttons at the top and buttons shaped arrow.
I use it for roughly a week and I just put an end to all social life and all the rest ...
It is configurable from A to Z: what message to send, what features to enable, how to react if you change banks ...
It can hold 16 presets (that's enough, but it can be limiting for some) - base it has a bunch of presets for the "big" software such as Live, Reason, Serato, etc ... which is quite handy.
I have not tried many other controllers. I tried the Novation Launchpad, but it is not the same thing.

I use FL Studio mode performance> a treat.
A quality / price ratio almost unbeatable.
I will upholster my mature one day ...

What I love about it, it's the design, I really love what Keith McMillen did with its interface and how such an amazing product got on the market for all of us.

What I also like about it is that each of the 27 pads, sliders and rotary sensors are pressure, velocity, and location sensitive and the 17 switches are also touch sensitive which makes a huge difference in creating unusual patters either drum patters or even melodic patterns with different velocity and timing.

I also like that the 16 square pads provide 127 levels of Velocity response. And X-Y location is also provided.

The sliders are very well made , they are extremely sensitive , so the velocity and timing can be well manipulated.

This product is compatible with Windows XP , Windows 7 , Vista , Mac OSX.

My opinion about the value for the price of Keith McMillen Instruments QuNeo 3D Multi-Touch USB Pad Controller is decent, its a great product that is affordable , it costs around 250 - 200 $ , but believe me, this is a unique product is very wotyh every penny.

Precision and quality of the sound is priceless , this product has an amazing sensibility , it's very well made , the precision of the knobs , sliders , pads is very pro , it's always on time , it's velocity sensitive , it has a very pro feel to it.

I've tried several models that try to get at the level that Keith McMillen Instruments QuNeo 3D Multi-Touch USB Pad Controller is , but frankly this is one of the best made in terms of balance between quality and price and feedback.

Knowing what I know, I would buy this hardware again , it's a very high quality product that takes your creativity level up an level.

The Keith McMillen Instruments QuNeo is a programmable MIDI control surface that has 16 pads and 9 sliders. It only cost 199 dollars and it is made to look really cool with all of the color effects. I think that is what is most appealing with it, I am even considering adding this to my sets for some visuals because it would be nice to trigger some samples and sound effects with this control surface and I am sure the spectators would appreciate a unit like this for the lighting and visuals alone!

Setting up the Keith McMillen Instruments QuNeo is quick and easy, you can use it in just about any software or DAW that you want and then just assign functions to it. It is that simple, you can use it as a mixing console or to trigger samples and sound effects or even to use for drums if you want. It is fully programmable and has enough pads and sliders to run everything you need.
The Keith McMillen Instruments QuNeo connects to your computer through USB, there are no audio connections on it so there are no ins and outs just MIDI control and USB control. There is also no a fader knob on it but you can work around that.
I think the main thing with the Keith McMillen Instruments QuNeo is the colors make it really cool. It adds a great visual to what you have going on and I look forward to start using it with my live sets very soon just finding how I am going to use it is the trick. I need to have this thing around to trigger some sound effects with. That is probably that only reason I will use it. But it is worth the money, even if you don’t use it for a DJ surface, you can use it for whatever you want.
