I bought the MIXDECK United States because it was not yet available in Australia where I live now. Only U.S. $ 700!
I have CDJ500S CDJ400 and who remained in France with my cd's.
I also had a Hercules DJ.
Having brought my Macbook and a good portion of my CD's encoded I was looking for a configuration that would approach coupled with the CDJ 400 Traktor. The MIXDECK was on paper the perfect solution.
Upon opening the box I am pleasantly surprised by the strength and weight very cohesive unit, XLR outputs for Master + 2 other outputs + Master booth. The trays are very nice and much better than those of the CDJ 400 with games starting to exasperate me.
Effects management and integration as a controller is perfect, we mix in exactly the same way as CDs, USB and MIDI controller. There is a feedback in the plates such that the length of pieces of guidance cue and pause playback and all the LEDs are operating normally in midi mode. However, attention to certain keys, iPods and hard drives that are not supported.
I had a breakdown the other day which was due to ground slightly disconnected which allowed me to open the plates and appreciate the quality workmanship that is surprising.
I thought the iPod dock useless gadget, but it can help to connect the music with a buddy before mixing or recording.
The table has only two track and I'd rather have a third rather than the iPod dock.
the external transformer is very well designed with an outlet and an anti chouco standart disconnection.
I use it for some months and am still very happy, very solid, very reliable and pushing creativity oily section indeed very comprehensive and intuitive and comprehensive section loop too.
For $ 700 the price is incredible value compared to CD400 for example that are well built but do not offer the same effects and the same control Traktor.
Caution, however, the version of Traktor LE is limited to 8% in pitch which forced me to buy the update to traktor pro, it takes a roughly $ 130.
I would do without hesitation that choice, in my opinion one of the best controller of the moment that is more capable of playing CDs.

Most:
His side-all in one with a multitude of sources available: USB, CD, CDMP3, ipod, monitor noon (traktor) and plus 2 auxiliary inputs that allow us to connect turntables or other audio source.

Its ease-of use. After using 20 minutes I immediately got on hand.
-Effects with the small fader "dry-wet" which are fairly basic but good quality.
-The general appearance of MIXDECK seems robust, maintains a good once posed by his weight about right.

Cons:
While there I noticed one small thing is that the details but it was a little disturbed.
It is the contrast of LCD screens. The finds have seen too much "circuits and figure" of the screen so it's been a little mess with carractère that appear. (Maybe there is a way to lower the contrast?)

The price is exceptional because when you look at the competitor, we have either a single MIDI control, a CD player and one for more than 1000 €.

Of course yes without hesitation!

I use it for two weeks and I find it simply awesome!
This is really the machine's most comprehensive walked.

I use the Vestax typhoon, 202 of the hybrid dj tech and try the Numark NS7.

The pros:

Grip ultra easy!
Not very heavy but sturdy and solid
Works both alone (CD/MP3 USB key, hard drive) with traktor or virtual
Dj! (You plug the USB cable and just works!)
Effects include several of which the scratch is more than correct! See excellent! (It's not worth it on a good turntable or CDJ of pioneer).
Excellent sound card
dock iPod / iPhone a little gadget but handy for the recorded mix!
Ability to change the cross fader (yes it can still be used)
Jogs size (neither too large nor too small)

It is simply a great machine and ultra complete!
The -:

In the future I will ever be that choice without hesitation! Value for money is excellent!

I use the four months since MIXDECK. I had a Hercules rmx consoles before, interesting console to start, but quickly limited to the mix (too small and quality of its average).

As the digital generation controllers I always used to the mix. The problem for me was the lack of CD player at parties. So I was looking for a rack with mixer and cd players single until I discovered the MIXDECK. It allowed me to sell my console and have everything in 1. The polyvalant is really the strong point of this console: one moves from CD, USB key, care for, in traktor or the iPod with a single button is great! Great sound quality.

It would simply wanted a slightly larger version of Traktor with more effects, and in a perfect world, the motorized stages. But the price was not the same! the iPod is in my opinion a bit superfluous.

Value for money rather interesting. No equivalent on the market, or so some systems 19 ', but nothing comparable. 125 € to put after the flight case for Numark are essential!
