I use it for more than two years, it was a gift so I did not choose for myself.

What I like most: The very modern sound, and I love it! The bass is deep, beautiful. Tonics are hard to get over, they sound very "plastic", but are slammed super-strong, which is great for solo voice. The weight is quite a benefit, I can take it anywhere without breaking my back. I used it in a group of African percussion and now in a trad group Breton, where I integrate it into my set with bongos, a darbuka, a hi-hat, a splash and other small percussion and sounds hell!

What I like least: The sounds tonics, not nice at all and the overall tone, which is a little lag when playing with other djembe or other iroko wood and doum ...

I think I would do this choice if I was playing in a band as the sole percussionist, but rather to avoid if you want to play in a band or are made to several African rhythms.
