The guitar has a solid spruce, a mahogany neck with a piece of junction traditional "dovetail".
Back and sides Indian rosewood. It also has a button and a bridge Indian rosewood, inlaid pearl, mesh timber, head and frets bridge (compensated) in bone, Grover ® Rotomatic ™.

UTILIZATION

The handle is nice although a little big.
Access to acute is difficult after the 15th fret.
I use it with strings martin & co Clapton.
The sound is really hot, powerful and resonates well.

SOUNDS

I play mostly blues / folk / rock.
I bought this guitar because I am a fan of Alice in Chains and I do not regret it at all. Really found the acoustic sound of Jerry Cantrell.
That did not stop ringing the great Oasis, Pink Floyd and others.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had two years now.
I would do this purchase without hesitation. Guild is a very good brand but extremely expensive for those who can not afford these wonders, this guitar is simply an excellent price / quality ratio

UTILIZATION

Handle very pleasant mid-way between the end and wide. Dreadnought style classical form. Access to acute normal: no cutaway so ....

SOUNDS

Warm sounding guitar! Perfect for strumming so for pop / rock but also for the blues. A feast for the ears, especially since it has a sacred volume. I passed and I will not change for a while because, at the level of sound quality, I only found little to fault models compared to high-end if we take account of its price of course.
The sound of the preamp (in fact well integrated into the case = no less trapping loss in acoustic sound pure) sounds good, but unfortunately I could only test it on a marshall as50d whose sound is very distinctive . So, I do not really miraculous return but the preamp is doing his job and very good! However it has only one volume knob and tone, so the rest can be adjusted at the amp, but much less headache like that!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 5 months, I tried the Taylor 110, which had not at all convinced. Taylor 210 in the other hand sounded really pretty and I think those two guitars really resemble one another. The Taylor sounds may be slightly more crystalline. Nothing to see any cons with Epiphone DR500M mass and R which are good for their price but do not play in the same court. I totally abandoned the Takamine Cort and in the same price range that does not convince me either: its cooler, less personality.
In short, value for money really huge, it sounds beautiful and I think that despite its provenance we really dealing with a real instrument. I dare say that the finishes are "perfect": no downside, the guitar is very beautiful. I would add that the case comes with is really nice! I would do without hesitation because the choice in this price range, there are no major competitors .... I would hesitate perhaps even with some top models and I tried a lakewood 1600euros to the other day was not much else, at least in my register of music.
