This is a guitar Made In United States, 21 frets / Junction 14th, mechanical oil bath Martin.
Table pica solid rosewood back and in wicker covers (Rosewood) rolled double binding.
Everything else (head, key, etc ...) is solid wood, indian rosewood.

The handle and the key points repre possde (not found on any Martins in the key)

The pickguard is tortoise color quail. Classic.

The finish is satin, but without it being empty forcment trs. In any case, more enjoyable than the "hand rubbed finish" the DX1R.

The manufacturing quality is impressive. It's beautiful, with nothing Exceeds.
It comes with a beautiful tui trs Martin.

And dernire small note: it feels good trs! (A kind of smell of freshly cut wood a little peak ... enjoyable!)

UTILIZATION

I'm not a guitar expert, just a year and a half of guitar, and more ... 8 months of folk, but high doses. Yet, I realized what a good handle means!
I also have a "small" Fender SCE140 NAT (very good guitar the way), and comparison s'arrte ct round l. I play mostly "folkpicking" and, well arpges sr also strumming (with mdiator).
On Martin, a slip alone is satin with a grip trs enjoyable. Not too large.
There's no cutaway (Dreadnought pure sugar), so Access in acute is not easy, but for now, I do not use it!

The DR is lgre, trs enjoyable handle. Yet it imposes its shape!

Ct's, I think that Premire guitar, may be just because you have when even a little matriser bte, at least to beginners. I think the action is a bit high for mine, it may be the rgler later. Otherwise it is trs enjoyable to play, a play well.

SOUNDS

I play mostly rock and folk (bcp picking and arpges), and this guitar is a marvel for both. Moreover, it is versatile trs. It fits my voice well, that's what I like particulirement. She plans but not too strong and makes great grades.
It's a "wood", warm, balanced trs end but thunderous bass without the low round and beautiful. It sounds awfully good. Fingers, the highs are crystal clear for a long and hard. In mdiator, it takes yet another dimension. Radiohead play (I love) is a happiness, you really sound without adding anything. I get almost euphoric when I play "Fake Plastic Tree" or "High & Dry" so a ring. Moreover, the record (through an Audio Technica ATM4041) is final. It sounds, it was immediately the sound, no EQ, no compression, the o my little Fender rsons and with its very small.

Overall, we find that the "overtone" so popular (the feeling that sounds, harmonic addition) of Martins and it really comes MODELS more upscale. Well, I think with the DR, we are in the middle of the range of the brand and, even this price, it has not sr ct its many competitors.

OVERALL OPINION

I did that for two weeks possde but addictive mode. It will certainly be refined over time (table work) and I'm still learning what will give me the time to the discovering.
I like everything, its sober flawless finish, especially the sound.

The quality price ratio can be questionable. Some would say that for the same price, you can have a guitar while solid, etc ... OK, but at the same time, despite my modest exprience, I tried a Takamine any mass in the same price range and I remember thinking "uh, yes, and why co you so much? "

So I'm sr achte that some one as Martin offers a beautiful watch, the price is not always fully justified but at the same time, there is the sound.
That is clear, I did not know this brand there are still 6 months. Trying a beautiful Martin (D16 I think) that I immediately said: "eh, but I like the sound and hear all my records of folk prf rs " and understand what qu'tait Martin & Co.

So idlatrie not just a pleasure to listen and play this guitar.

With exprience, no problem, I do it again this choice.

Today, I think be a more than respectable acoustic guitarist and I worked hard to have my thanks Martin. She now has great sound, it keeps me out. Rgler I made the handle for comfort. Wood had worked. My last records are superb. Without any editing, a ring right away. She is in the mix, with its mellow sound in the upper mdium, even better with ropes a little tired. I even had dj's remarks "Martinez" which taient trs surprised that this is a DR.
