Manufacture La Patrie, a small town in Quebec.
Specific characteristics are readily available ... What I can add is that in ten years, the guitar is aging very well despite frequent use.

UTILIZATION

Very enjoyable to play guitar. The grip is natural.

SOUNDS

As I wrote previously, the sound improves with age (unless it is my game that gets better ). Not without laughter, the sound is balanced, powerful enough. The shades are easy whether picking or plectrum, rhythmic and solo ... All styles, including blues, folk ... pass.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 11 years and this is my favorite acoustic guitar. The violin is simple, but neat. I bought other Seagull guitars and I've never been disappointed. Excellent quality / price ratio. Excellent guitar, I'm not tired ...

I've been playing for a year mostly finger picking. I like playing mellow rock and classical

I had bought a new guitar didn't spend the time to shop around. The neck buzzed got it fix but still hard on the fingers.One day I went to a small guitar shop and told the owner about my problem. He showed me a guitar played it pretty nice. then he handed me a seagull s6. It played like silk, just touched the strings and it sounded so rich and deep in tone. It was great. tried some others that were three times the money.But i had to have the seagull and bought it. It cost me 369.00 a little more then my first, but sounds like it would cost four times that

The guitar is very light, has great all over tone. tuners are great. Stayed tuned for days with lots of play.Very easy on the fingers can play for hours.

The only problem I see is the finish is very light you need to handel with care but thats what makes it sound so good and only gets better with age.

The construction of the guitar is great. Has great tuners. The wood is beatiful from the cedar face cherry sides and nice maple neck

From playing lots of guitars any time I see a shop. For the money you cannot find a better deal then the seagull s6.

I purchased the S6 at Lakeshore Music in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Both me and my brother bought guitars for about $350 Canadian each with cases. He, sadly, decided on a Yamaha.

The cedar top produces an incredibly warm deep tone that I have never found in any other guitar. The finish is very minimal which gives a much more natural sound. My brother's Yamaha is heavily laquered and sounds tinny. The S6 is extremely easy to play and easy to set up. There is a truss rod adjustment just underneath the soundhole. The intonation is also excellent.

Nothing, but do remember that it can be fragile because of its light finish. Make sure you have a good humidifier for it.

The design is simplicistic but Seagul has put every effort into making the best quality instrument possible. You have to play one to understand the comfort. The guitar has not had a single problem since I bought it.

My S6 is such a beautiful instrument I bought another one with a cutaway and the L.R. Baggs electronics. The S6 is cheaper because they did not bother with all of the flashy extras like pearl inlays or other beauty items. The normal S6 has the best sound in an acoustic guitar especially for around $300.

paid 300.00 from local music store. the sound and tone can not be better

sound and tone of much higher cost guitar. you would not think u are playing a 300dollar guitar. the action can be set to just the way u like it.it has a very deep tone. every body that plays this guitar is blown a way by the tone

I am left-handed version of this electro acoustic guitar but the woods are the same: solid cedar table (as the name implies) and background Clisse cherry, accajou handle, touch and rosewood bridge . These guitars are made by hand and the finish is good cost and personally I love the smell DGIG of this guitar! (This n'tait not the main reason for my choice for this instrument). Fans of electro acoustic find an equalizer with three bands (one mdium paramtrique), one of potart prsence and volume thus providing possiblilit occur on scne with his trs correct.

UTILIZATION

The grip is enjoyable despite the size of the body (Dreadnought).

SOUNDS

OVERALL OPINION

It is now six years since I played on this guitar and I'm really satisfait.En certainly rang and the sound is not common.
This instrument is quite fragile against by notament at the table, and the cedar wood is soft enough so the slightest touch (even a nail lgrement plantvous leave a trace.

The handle is soft and thin enough trs (c qd is not even an electric), not too polished allowing it to be ever sticky n (qd even in hot weather, the GRDS glisss st easy), large on this point I adore me ..

UTILIZATION

- The handle is unique. The seller had a prvenu and it has partly made my choice: the handle is wide and thin, perfect for me who used to play on a classic! The neck is super enjoyable, has its own slide!

- Like any good acoustic guitar without a cutaway Access in acute is not easy but for the few times I go o, a break not too much problem even if the size of the handle pt may be cause problem??

- I had read before buying a guitar that c'tait lumberjack, heavy and all. But in fact not at all! I find it really enjoyable to play trs

OVERALL OPINION

- I use it for a few weeks and not me dcrocher! I keep thinking about the night when I go home to play for hours!

- It's a really great, warm, well rounded, gnial for walking and rock gnral. I did not test too in acute (forced beginners) but not look bad. The least that pt be the aspect that dchire but not the masses must not EXAGRES, it is not so bad. In the end, a dtail.

- When I shop at all, I tried a nice Cort, a Yamaha and even a Martin DM. I tried a Takamine dj remains in my REFERENCE what I tried (but still personal). The seller said I dcrocherai not much of Martin and the Seagull is not that I dcroch!

- Excellent qualitprix me

- Since my choice is rcent I can not say too much but at the moment no regrets at all! I do not even feel guilty not having selected the Martin.

In the end I would say that Seagull is a style we like it or not. The mast of the box tonne, the sound comes out tons too!
However the wood is more brittle than a varnished scratch disk (I put in a 9) but that's what makes the difference too.

UTILIZATION

I use it for at least ..... 6, 7 or even 8 years, I can not remember even more when I bought it!
In fact I had gone to buy a takamine ... and then I tried the seagull .. and I loved his sleeve and his (and his award for her!) ... since I used regularly, it is THE race that I love. The credit union is not sudden but is not a problem as long as not all the time looking for the solos.

UTILIZATION

The handle requires a rather precise adjustment to balance between bass and treble, and high ropes course ... This is a Canadian guitar Dreadnought type. 14 frets non-cash. Channel 24.8 inches exactly (630 mm) lol
It is well made trs. Trs sober. The table is however quite sensitive to blows. This is for the use of cedar wood which is a fairly soft.

UTILIZATION

The handle is big enough and broad. 47mm at nut of head. The pitch is quite short (24.8 inches). The frets are pretty flat. The action of t Sets the strings down a luthier that provides more comfort empty. The handle is perfect for my large hands. Access in acute is quite difficult, which is normal for a case with no cutaway. The interface is perfect for me.
I ride Elixir Custom Light strings for many years. These strings have transfigured and gives me the sound I wanted.

SOUNDS

It should be perfectly my style of music. The sound is modern and trs typ. Trs hot. The bass and mdiums gnreux take precedence over almost treble that are felt and can trs aggressive. It resembles neither the sound nor the sound Martin Taylor. Which is a plus for me! The sound of these guitars is high quality but lack of originality PCHE. - The general appearance is very sober, very classy. The varnish is almost invisible and smell the wood grain, patting the table. At the sound is again very typ => full of bass "deep", a warm and round, which will not suit everyone (but many others are looking, which is my case ).
the sound also seems to me quite mtallique, I think it will diminish somewhat over time (new ropes ..).
this guitar seems to me to idalie accompaniment, acoustic rock, blues, or the folk.

Attention => the amount of bass over treble can disturb. playing fingers I found her really perfect and clear, but when I pass the mediator agreements (a 2.0) the E string and clearly dominates and is given a result in somewhat gal and "draft". - I use it for one week at full capacity (roughly 10 hours a day).
- I like its sounds very full, round and warm, it washables dcu me nothing yet.
- I have tried many models before buying, and c'tait far the most kind and most recognizable.
- Very good report quality price (I pay 380 with a 20% discount .. what more? = D)
- For the moment nothing dcu me, I do it again this choice without hesitate .. I ca redirais within a month or two).

In conclusion, it is a guitar very good price quality ratio, but the sound and playability very typs that may not appeal to everyone (as amazed the purchaser, according ).
a must try if it fits in your budget).
