Manufacturing Taiwan (Rep. of China)
The table is laminated spruce, there is a very beautiful diamond markers button (rosewood) and a cream binding. Handle end, V profile, grip very intuitive, natural.
The FG 345 II were produced from 1981 to 1985, my model is February 1984.
Dreadnought shape, small black skid plate, 25 years of "maturation" of wood, without a true folk cutaway without electronic that makes you want!
We often read about these guitars a very high action problem. There is nothing on mine, which is played as well as an Ovation! I'm in standard tuning. Fluke? It takes much time to time ...
Perfect ergonomics, it is the ultra-traditional dreadnought.
I play mostly fingers with long nails: World Music style, a bit jazz, bossa, folk ballads, Rock (Bon Jovi, White Lion ...) arrangements of tubes (Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys. ..)
Different registers, but this guitar can do it!
Played on the fingers (long nails), there is an incredible volume and shine! I recently tried some great Furch, Gibson, and Maton, and frankly, there is in this small Taiwanese rolled to the table something quite amazing which makes it into the comparison! Of course, the J-45 is rounder, more balanced, the Furch powerful and hot, but nothing that makes it appear that little ridiculous Yam, on the contrary.
The mediator, please choose something smooth and fine, to pad out the effect of brightness, success guaranteed!!
I bought € 200 almost by chance, a friend who was working at Antik Musik in Pigalle, I cracked, I'm very happy. She's great, and I keep it!
