OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 1 year

This microphone picks up the bass like no other, for a bass drum jazz or pop is perfect for death metal you should choose something else, having said that I did a test by positioning outside the big box with a sm57 to 5cm of the bat and that makes him really well, a floor tom it works very well too and the bass amp no worries, it is the master (I still have a couple more micro Brilliant souaite static when I have more teeth though its frequency response from 15Hz to 20kHz going), it suffices to itself in many cases.
I have used it for making voice once (death metal this time) and it was a treat .... really fat, and with a peach of hell.
Proximitée its effect is very pronounced and the sound obtained with this microphone is mostly very smooth.
it is a little reminiscent of a ribbon microphone, I also used for recovery of guitar amps into overdrive and also for acoustic guitar, the result is very round, warm, not aggressive at all.
On a bass drum is very special because if we do not want to saturate the preamp of the table to go back before the microphone or be pulled through the line input.

I have an AKG D112 which sounds totally different (over medium),
I tried the E602 which I find too pasty (if one can say that a microphone)
Can be compared to that of his serious Beyer M88, punchy, light and non-resonant

Certe this microphone is not the most versatile of the world, but off the beaten path and integrating the taking of any instrument, he got yet still gave a pleasant surprise
