OVERALL OPINION

I use it for two years, with strong and I will find my preamp sounds pretty hot I'm a little disappointed at the Acute flute but hey it is often advisable for percussion so it's a little normal.
this is my first microphone, I'm really happy relationship quality price, it''s really convenabel, I can save a lot of sound diffrent restution with the sounds more or less correct if I consider that in the treble is not the top!
experience with this choice I would do so, even if my experience is rather in micro dsuette but hey, knowing that you should always see their need in relation to the gear to use as I do, it suits me completely,

Given the choice to do it all over again, I'd invest my money in the exact same three SM57's I have now. Whenever I'm making up a stage I always run out of 57's before I'm ready, so I guess I should go get another pair of them. I own other instrumental mics designed for live and studio applications, and I'm just really pleased with the 57's.

I've used these mics in live shows to amplify guitar cabinets, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, piano, hand drums, snare drum, and on occasion, voices. (Although, for vocal applications, vocalists will practically need to swallow the grill to be amplified well - not much of a pickup range on this mic for vocals, so stay close to it while singing.) No matter which instrument's being played into the SM57, it produces clear, clean signal; especially when used for a live horn . If you havent used this mic before I suggest you going out and getting it, even if its not your first mic, it’s a very well rounded mic and can do what ever you need it to do for a very cheap price when it comes to mics.

Versatile dynamic mic, but I only use it on guitars amplified

I use it for my beginners in the studio.
It is a microphone that always makes me service when I took the guitar, either on or scne studio.

This microphone works for almost everything, but beware:
there is no perfect mic. So I suggest equivalence in some cases and available at cost. Because if you break your piggy bank is yet another debate.

Battery:
snare top and bottom. It works very well in rock and roll.
On other styles, you can choose a static, richer in harmonics but watch the pressure.
In dynamic equivalence, Beta 56 (more punchy), AKG 441 (more natural), beta 57 (brightest), Sennheiser 906 (more fat)
For toms, less rich than a Sennheiser 421 or beta98 but it marchotte ...

I use it for 3 years to my demos and live. Shure is a great reference for me the microphone. It is the quality at unbeatable prices. I've never had better results than the Shure.
The advantages of this microphone: versatility, value for money, it's solid, easy to use, micro well insulated.

I recommend it and I intend to buy me new ones if the need arises.

OVERALL OPINION

I used the last few months, I use an sm57, sm58 and a pair of Apex 185.
Plus, much more, both super versatile voices on the acoustic instrument, I have yet to try on amplified instruments ... A nice precision on wind instruments such as saxophone or trumpet. Otherwise, strong, beautiful line.

The least .... uh .... Just a small remark. Few return for instruments such as cello or bass but must surely inverstire in a good preamp for this foncctionne well. Otherwise nothing to say.

Very good value for money and if it was to do again, I'll buy this mic without hesitation.

OVERALL OPINION

nicknamed the Swiss army knife and it is justified.

It happens everywhere, not enough to excel in the studio but on stage is good enough and especially economic and unbreakable ...
It also breaks a micro anti testicle, Shure is a reference for anyone interested from near or far to the music, and not many people will tell you that it's shit or will tell you j "have not beautiful voice because of your microphone.
