I t was my Seririt manufactures the UNITED STATES in 1977. The woods are utiliss Rabl (handle and table), mahogany (body) bne (key). The neck has 24 frets and pearl are included. The violin is exceptional vritablement.
Bridge and nut are brass. I think the bridge as the weak point of this low because you can not rgler the height of a string of three indpendemment others. Too bad.
The typical home electronic and Alembic: 2 single coil pickups + 1 micro central "dummy hum" that eliminates the noise. 1 + 1 Stereo jack 5 pin XLR Stereo connect to external power supply. 2 volume, 2 Tone correcting two Q-switch 3 positions (one for his "bright"), a position slecteur 3 + Off.

UTILIZATION

The handle is easy to play, but beware of small arms because you have to play better with this type of extension in the lower tip of the shaft. Access in acute and super easy.
As for weight, a good prvoyez strap muscles and your back! This bass is relatively heavy.

SOUNDS

Looking for the fawn's Alembic Mark King, Stanley Clarke and Jimmy Johnson? It's here! Of the severe acute through the mdium, each frquence is fully restored. As a group, the sound is never noy. It is clear prcis, pchu without sacrificing bass and subwoofer. In slap? is exceptional. Fingers? it's round, warm and prcis. In mdiator? Uh ... you make the bass or guitar?.
In short, whatever the rglage on my amp (Ashdown MAG 300 + 2 boxes Trace Elliot 2x10 "+ 1x15"), I can not have his crap.

OVERALL OPINION

For over 16 years I use this bass. I had the chance to purchase in 1991 for $ 14 000 francs (almost 2200 Euros) as currently it takes more than 10 000 dollars for a nine MODEL! It's worth making the trip, or find one used on ebay they sell o gnral more than 3000 euros.
I play jazz, blues, rock, pop, and my Almebic can adapt any style.
Its assets: outstanding sound quality with quality of violin making.
Its default body weight, the bridge and the price if it achte new.
If I had to redo this choice? Without hsiter, but not a nine MODEL ... Che too!
